Bush and Condi Failed US on 9/11-The Security of our Country is Severely in Danger

International Attack-Terrorism Governments USA UK

With the news that President Bush and his administration knew of impending suicidal airplane attacks on American soil and did nothing about it directly indicates a dangerous ineffectiveness and incompetence to protect America.

The failure to implement internal security for our country compounds our inability to secure America. After 911, few safe guards were implemented to protect our national security. Our boarders are not protected, our nuclear and chemical plants are not adequately protected, our seaports lack security, and our rail systems are not secure.

The person attributed to the horrific atrocities of 911, Osama bin Laden, still walks free today. Our presumed main mission was to seek and capture this terrorist. However, President Bush has done little to find him. The obvious complete lack of concern with regards to bin Laden is apparent in the March 2002 Bush quote “I truly am not that concerned about him. I know he is on the run.” He described the terrorist leader as “marginalized,” and said, “I just don’t spend that much time on him.” How is America safer, knowing that this president does not care about the person responsible for 911?

Obviously, the main goal of President was to take down Saddam Hussein. President Bush and his administration fabricated evidence and intelligence to state that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. Ignoring the American decree of not initiating a war, this administration invaded the sovereign nation of Iraq based on lies. The United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan stated that the “US-led invasion of Iraq was an illegal act that contravened the UN charter”. This illegal war had killed or wounded thousands and thousands of Americans and Iraqis. This illegal war has looted over $200 billion dollars from our American Treasury.

This bush administration exercises no diplomacy and insists on calling nations ‘evil-doers’ and ‘axis of evil’. When you force someone or a country into a corner, you literally leave no other recourse but to fight your way out. This is human nature.

And now, North Korea has publicly stated they have nuclear bombs.

The security of our nation is in serious jeopardy and is directly attributable to the incompetence and sinister actions of President Bush and his administration.

We must immediately commence impeachment hearings.

The security of our nation transcends party boundaries. This is not a Democrat or Republican issue. This is an issue facing all Americans.

Failure of our Congress to act on these matters implies a conspiracy and indicates the government controlled by treasonous perpetrators.

I urge all to write or call our leaders and demand an impeachment. We cannot wait till 2008. This president is on the verge of initiating other wars. We must stop these actions before it is to late.

    Well said. Thank you.

I think we need to make it clear to congresspeople that if they refuse to act, they are failing in their sworn duty to defend and uphold the constitution, therefore they will be held accountable as well.
