On Good Morning America Bush said:

"I don’t think anyone could have anticipated the breach of the levees."

BUllSHit! The simple truth is that the breach of the levees had been a prime concern as Katrina approached. This statement proves beyond doubt that George W. Bush doesn’t know what the **** is happening. This ignorance is worthy of impeachment.

Sure, I could go on and on for a lengthy article, but I’m not. Have you heard the phrase, "Stop the Presses!"

Now is the Time. This ’slip up’ is the reason. STOP THE PRESSES. Bush must be removed- immediately- his criminal ignorance is putting us all in danger.

The Levees were a prime concern:

  • Looks like he is getting away with it! Its so sad and makes me mad! America must know, that bush just dont care, all he care and is important to him is his oil! Who will get rich when gas prices go up.... thats right ur president Mr.Bush!!!

Why didnt he prepare for this, coz now, he dont have to pay for all this poor people that are dead, he will get aid, he said he needs cash, wich he will spend on his war in IRAN to get evan more oil!!!

AMERICA WAKE UP, WE ALL KNOW THIS,WHY DONT U?!!

  • looks like everyone but the people in charge knew what was coming....we cannot trust them with anything. It sure makes it seem like 9/11 was their fault due again to incompetence as well as the illegal immoral attack in Iraq.

"Defending the U.S. government’s response to Hurricane Katrina, Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff argued Saturday that government planners did not predict such a disaster ever could occur."

"Chertoff, fielding questions from reporters, said government officials did not expect both a powerful hurricane and a breach of levees that would flood the city of New Orleans."

"For years, Washington had been warned that doom lurked just beyond the levee. And for years, the White House and Congress had dickered over how much money to put into shoring up century-old dikes and carrying out newer flood control projects to protect the city of New Orleans.

As recently as three months ago, the alarms were still sounding — and still being brushed aside"

    • They are so busy squandering the tax money to each other for each others different "security" companies (Marvin Bush has a large security company lots of non-bid contracts there) Cheneyburton will get millions to clean up the mess, etc.

There actually obviously is no security here. The only thing happening is the window dressing at the airports. Their phony terrorist war has made them complacent. They know there is so little threat from "terrorists" that they forgot that natural disasters are real and really do huge damage.

Our government doesn’t do anything for us. They are just blood suckers there to line their own pockets and feed at the public trough. This present swarm of maggots (dems/repugs) need to be thrown to the wolves, or if nothing else drummed out of office.

If we had a nuclear "accident" which they are totally not prepared for (the nuclear power plants are getting old and dangerous), it would make this Katrina destruction look like a small incident.

  • Slow response bewilders former FEMA officials

WASHINGTON - (KRT) - Government disaster officials had an action plan if a major hurricane hit New Orleans. They simply didn’t execute it when Hurricane Katrina struck.

Thirteen months before Katrina hit New Orleans, local, state and federal officials held a simulated hurricane drill that Ronald Castleman, then the regional director for the Federal Emergency Management Agency, called "a very good exercise."

More than a million residents were "evacuated" in the tabletop scenario as 120-mile-an-hour winds and 20 inches of rain caused widespread flooding that supposedly trapped 300,000 people in the city.

"It was very much an eye-opener," said Castleman, a Republican appointee of President Bush who left FEMA in December for the private sector. "A number of things were identified that we had to deal with, not all of them were solved."
"It’s hard for everyone to understand why buttons weren’t pushed earlier on," Castleman said of the federal response.

  • This article in the October 2004 issue of National Geographic is eerily accurate in its description of the likely outcome of a direct hit on New Orleans. Apparently Bush doesn’t read the National Geographic either:

  • How many Bushies feel safer from terrorism with the Smirking Cowboy in charge now?

We are coming into our darkest hours. We need to impeach this whole crop of goons in the Bush Regime.

Kucinich would take our country down a much brighter path.

Osama Bin Laden is still winning. He, with the help of Bushco, has brought this country to it’s knees.

  • Of course this all pre-supposes that he is ignorant or a fool. I don’t believe it for a minute. I think this is all part of the Bush administration’s plan. BTW, I heard recently that a contract was signed with Haliburton a couple years ago to rebuild the coastline in the event of a hurricane. About the same time they withdrew the funding for the levees. I think they wanted it to happen because they have plans to re-develop the area without the Blacks. I can just imagine that Redneck thinking that it’s a terrible waste of valuable land. They have to go. Americans need to remove him from office, either by impeachment for a shot from a rifle.

    • Don’t waste your time trying to analyse anything that comes out of his mouth or the thousands of other govt mouthpieces, media full time sycophants claqueurs and whores (all getting regular fat reality checks, you can be sure) etc. They’re lying all the time, it’s a different story every day, whether its WMDs, levees collapsing, global warming, "free" enterprise tax gifts for the rich etc etc, it’s just so much froth like that squirted by a venomous snake to blind attackers, the slippery stuff exuded by an eel, or a squid’s ink to make it effectively invisible.

He can and does anticipate utter befuddlement from the public overloaded with so much contradictory information possibly still imagining they’re free citizens in a free state - they’re just utterly utterly expendable; the world for the super rich would be far far better without 19/20ths of the present population.

I suppose you may have heard, too, what a good weapon "depleted" uranium is. Why doesn’t Bush stick some of it up his nose then?

  • ALL AMERICANS SHOULD JUST STOP PAYING TAXES. AS LOND AS THIS LOWLIFE BUSH AND HIS THUGS ARE IN OFFICE.
    FLOYD

  • The man’s an arrogant, incompetent idiot.
