Bush on London attacks: "US must now be extra vigilant"

"This morning I’ve been in contact with our homeland security folks and I instructed them to be extra vigilant as our folks start heading to work," Bush has stated.

U.S. President George W. Bush’s statement on the attacks in London, delivered at the Group of Eight summit in Gleneagles, Scotland: "I spent some time recently with the prime minister, Tony Blair; had the opportunity to express our heartfelt condolences to the people of London, people who lost lives."

"I appreciate Prime Minister Blair’s steadfast determination and restraint. He’s on his way now to London here from the G-8 to speak directly to the people of London, to carry a message of solidarity with him," U.S. President Bush has stated.

"This morning I’ve been in contact with our homeland security folks and I instructed them to be in touch with local and state officials about the facts of what took place here and in London and to be extra vigilant as our folks start heading to work," the U.S. leader has informed. "The contrast between what we’ve seen on the TV screens here, what’s taken place in London, what’s taken place here is incredibly vivid to me."

"On the one hand, we got people here who are working to alleviate poverty and to help rid the world of the pandemic of AIDS and that are working on ways to have a clean environment. And on the other hand, you’ve got people killing innocent people," George Bush has declared. "And the contrast couldn’t be clearer between the intentions and the hearts of those of us who care deeply about human rights and human liberty, and those who kill, those who’ve got such evil in their heart that they will take the lives of innocent folks."

"The war on terror goes on. I was most impressed by the resolve of all the leaders in the room. Their resolve is as strong as my resolve. And that is, we will not yield to these people, will not yield to the terrorists. We will find them. We will bring them to justice," U.S. President has added. "And at the same time we will spread an ideology of hope and compassion that will overwhelm their ideology of hate. Thank you very much."

  • All he can spout is BUllSHit, after all! Hypocrisy, thy name is Bush. He hasn’t wanted to do anything about global warning, AIDS, Africa (except exploit them), or any of the other really important things on the agenda, and now he is all for them, as soon as the "terrorists" have "proved" him right!

It wouldn’t surprise me at all to discover that the neocons and their handmaidens had a hand in all this. After all, they are the biggest terrorists the world has ever seen.

    • i tend to agree with this comment ... that the us neocons are behind the bombings ... if you consider the "history" ... we know more than enough to be suspicious ...

the killing of the Knight Ridder Journalist that was investigating the possible death squad’s in Iraq being trained by the US ... familiar ... central america ... the specific targeting of the intelligencia in viet nam ... the death of over 200 university level professors in Iraq all opposed to the american presence ...

that is where we must put our investigations ... is the US behind all of this "terrorism" ... i think it is time they transparently prove they are not !

  • "...those who kill, those who’ve got such evil in their heart that they will take the lives of innocent folks."
WHAT DID YOU DO BUSH? hypocrite
