It’s not very often that I bother to listen to anything that a former employee of the Bush administration has to say. This is precisely why, when a researcher friend kept bringing up the name ‘Morgan Reynolds’, I listened politely and read an article or two - but only to appease her. Whenever I heard the words ‘Bush administration Economist’, I have to admit the desire to move on to another topic was gut-wrenchingly strong.

Who could blame this ‘04 election coordinator for ‘Mothers Opposing Bush’ for not wanting to give even a former Bush administration rose-bush trimmer the time of day? Call me a bleeding heart liberal if you will, but to say that I don’t want to have anything to do with the man considered by many to be the ‘worst President’ in US history would be a gross understatement.

Just to give you a feel for my sentiments concerning Dubya & Co., while others wear cameras around their necks when going to visit the big house of white, this pacifist/humanitarian wears a necklace of garlic cloves to ward off the inhabitants’ evil spirits.

With clearly no love lost between me and the amoral war-making, blood-thirsty vampires, I donned my garlic on 9/11 this year and ventured into the District of Slime to attend two truth-tellers’ events.
