The title of the story is: I just got back from a FEMA Detainment Camp

This is a story that needs to get some serious passing around. I believe that Hurricane Katrina is our Kristalnacht. I’ve been hearing (reading) stories (some with pictures) the last few years about secret encampments enclosed with razor wire. This isn’t one those places, but this story will definitely let you know what’s in store. I am reminded of the words of Martin Niemoller: "First they came for ... Then they came for me, and by that time there was no one left to speak for me."

This kind of stuff scares the living daylights out of me. I’ve known about the fascism since shortly after 9/11—seemed too much like the burning of the Reichstag for me, a feeling shared by a German woman now living in the U.S.

What we’ve seen in New Orleans is the beginning of the SS in America. I’ve lost patience with those who fail to understand the seriousness of the shit we are in.
