London Bombings: Questions to Blair

by Open-Publishing - Friday 8 July 2005

Attack-Terrorism UK

After the Madrid attacks, blamed first on ETA then on "Al Qaeda" network, the media in Spain discovered that the alleged bombers had intimate links with key members of the Spanish bomb squad.

We detail the evidence for this in our book 911 Revealed.

48% of New Yorkers now believe the 9/11 attacks were "consciously" allowed to happen by elements in the U.S. government (Zogby). The anthrax attacks were traced to a U.S. military strain of anthrax and, contrary to the neo-con claims at the time, had no connection with Iraq.

The timing of the London attack is a political godsend for Tony Blair, coming only one day after the decision to award the 2012 Olympics to London, and while he is facing a public revolt over plans to introduce identity cards. Already the authorities are fostering an atmosphere of panic, with the likely intention of strengthening their political hand in Westminster.

On past experience it is likely that the authorities will rapidly arrest a group of alleged "terrorists" who, they will say, are linked to "Al Qaeda".
The mainstream media should ask the following questions:

1. Why did a senior police officer tell the BBC less than twenty four hours before the London attacks that the London police felt that they were on top of the terrorist threat?

2. Were the alleged bombers under surveillance before the attacks, and if not how were they apprehended?

3. To what extent were the bombers motivated by rage at the failure of the UK media to report truthfully on the war on Iraq where torture and death squad killings by the U.S./UK puppet regime have reached a similar scale to the Saddam Hussein regime.

4. Does the Blair government now admit that the illegal invasion of Iraq has aided terrorism?

5. Blair boasted to the Jewish Chronicle that he has given more support to Israel than any other UK premier. Will Blair now reconsider his support for Ariel Sharon and his decision to breach his own arms guidelines to supply the occupation forces there with the means to kill Palestinian children?

6. Why did initial reports say the Underground was disrupted by a power surge?

The official story of the Madrid attacks collapsed when the authorities squabbled over whether the attacks were carried out by Basque separatists or "Al Qaeda". An event that looked certain to ensure the re-election of Bush/Blair ally Premier Aznar backfired.

History shows that UK penetration of the IRA was far greater than the authorities admitted at the time. After swallowing all the Blair lies about weapons of mass destruction it would be outrageous if the media now let themselves be panicked by the Blair government into believing whatever they say about the current attacks.

The British people will hold media figures who give aid and comfort to Blair’s lies to be responsible alongside Blair for the continuing carnage that the Blair/Bush/Sharon so-called war on terror has unleashed.

I support the call, by UK 911 skeptics and by reopen911.org, for a fully independent investigation conducted by people from outside Washington into the official story of the 911 attacks.

Recently a senior Republican was quoted in the Washington Times as stating that the official story - that the Twin Towers collapsed at almost the speed of free fall, defying the law of conservation of momentum - is highly unlikely.

In our book we quote other senior Republicans who have stated that the 9/11 attacks were the Reichstag Fire of the Bush regime, intended to launch an endless war and kill off the U.S. constitution.

I call on broadcasters to follow their legal obligation to exercise due impartiality. They must balance their credulous acceptance of the official 911 story as established fact with a fair-minded discussion of the alternative theories.
