Wars and conflicts Parties USA

If Americans wish to support Democratic candidates in the coming elections to demonstrate their outrage at Bush’s insane policies , that is a recourse open to them... .... Will Democratic takeover of Congress finnally cause Bush to Stop the Madness ?... It’s possible . Not Likely...... If a citizen chooses to vote (D) , it must be noted that in competitive races the "progressive" alternative is very likely no better - and in some instances actually worse - than his Republican opponent on the crucial issue of US involvement in the War on Iraq ... .. The latest scam being foisted on the progressive movement comes in the form of the so called "Fighting Democrats" - the brainchild of Rahm Emanuel and the DLC-cons...... They’ve recruited veterans of the Iraq War as well as former members of the US military to mount the charge against the GOP slate... ... They’re real men ( and women)... "Blood and Guts.... Growlll !!!... ... Many of the warmongers simply dodge the issue of Iraq ... They support a "strong miltary" and fulsome benefits for veterans. .... ... Are they ashamed to admit the their continued support of Operation Bloodbath ? ....... Here are the positions of 10 "fighting democrats" on continued US involvement in the war... ..They sound very much like their counterparts in the party opposite.... Certain websites and "liberal" radio networks openly tout their campaigns.... 1 ) Jay Fawcett ....( CA-1. ) " In my current position as a defence contractor ..... no matter what your position on the war , if we pull out now the entire region will spiral into catastrophe. " ..... 2 ) John Laesch ( Ill-14) ....( Let’s) outline a Success strategy for Iraq to win the peace." ..... 3 ) Chris Carney (Pa -10 ) ..... Pentagon senior advisor on counterterrorism , part of the team alleging OBL-Saddam links.... 4 ) Tim Walz (Minn-1) ..... Opposes an immediate withdrawal of troops from Iraq and says he’s not sure when the soldiers should be pulled out . .. ... 5 ) Bill Winter (CO-6) ...... (Winter) also worked on Senator McCain’s Presidential Primary campaign... 7) Eric Massa.. ..(NY-29)... "no timetables for withdrawal" 8 ) Andrew Duck (Md-6) ....." There are not sufficient troops to accomplish the goal ...." 9 ) David Ashe ... (Va -1 ) .... "David Ashe supports our our strong US-Israeli relationship. America has too powerful a position to be viewed as anything less than staunchly pro- Israel ." 10 ) Bryan Lentz... ( PA -7 )..... redeployment of troops currently in Iraq ... continued air support and special forces participation... These are the men who will win seats if Dems take over control of the US house in ’06... ..Their brightest prospects .... Excited Yet ? ....

  • And then there is the fact that the Democrats are pushing hard to make it all but impossible for third parties to run for office. No public campaign funds for a third party candidate who can’t get signatures from at least 10% of the total number of voters in the previous election. The 10% figure would be required for partial funding; for full funding the figure is 20%. This is part of HR 4694 sponsored by David Obey and cosponsored by, among others, Barney Frank, James McGovern and Henry Waxman—all supposed “liberal” Democrats. It is definitely time for a decent third party that will listen to the people.
