NYT : BUSH AWARE , `NOT IMPLICATED ’ IN CIA LEAK ?

The Neocon New York Times has posited a most unusual theory; to whit , King George of PNAC was aware of the plan to leak the CIA identity of Valerie Plame but is not directly implicated in the leak.... Say What ? "And nobody has suggested that the investigation directly implicates the president. Yet Mr. Bush has yet to address some uncomfortable questions....There is the broader issue of whether Bush was aware of any effort by his aides to use the CIA officer’s identity to undermine the standing of her husband ( Joe Wilson ) (NYT 7/24/05)..... The deep minds at the Neocon New York Times have culled out a scenario whereby by King George was aware of the plot to leak Plame’s employer but also not involved in the act of leaking her name to various and sundry reporters.......... George Stephanopoulis also cited a source close to the investigation who claims the King was present at meetings where the plot to sabotage Wilson was hatched..... On June 3, 2004 Capitol Hill Blue reported the following : " ...witnesses told a federal grand jury President George W. Bush knew about and took no action to stop release of a CIA operatives name to a journalist in an attempt to discredit her husband ..... Their damning testimony has prompted Bush to contact an outside lawyer for legal advice because evidence increasingly points to his involvement in the leak... " What propaganda campaign did King George accede to ? According to Rove surrogates : " an aggresive campaign to discredit Wilson through the leaking and disseminating of derogatory information regarding him and his wife to the press , utilizing proxies such as conservative interest groups .... to achieve these ends.... " ( American Prospect ,3/08/04)...... Today the Washington Post reports the following : Fitzgerald said the grand jury has collected so much testimony and so many documents that it is hard to conceive of what evidence would disprove the existence of White House efforts to punish' Wilson ( "A Concerted  Effort to Discredit Critic " Washington Post, 4/09/06 )......  The plot that the King knew , allowed to happen but is notdirectly implicated ’ in ... ....
