RUSSIAN SPY’S POISONING - A CHRISTMAS GIFT TO THE WORLD

With the recent poisoning of Russian spy Alexander Litvinenko, widespread word of the gritty reality of the painful details of his murder were spread internationally. Surprisingly, the controlled US Mainstream Media revealed that a lethal radioactive substance called polonium-210 was administered to an unsuspecting individual in order to cause devastatingly painful, swift, and certain demise. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20061202/ap_on_re_eu/spy_mystery

Regardless of the media’s intent behind the widespread publicity of this murder, the message that Americans "heard" was not simply a tale of how a Russian spy-gone-bad got his just reward. Instead, the good people of the United States finally heard the all important - yet rarely heard message - that radiation kills.

What a relief it was to "hear" this message over and over again in the news. Finally, the sold-out media, as the dutiful mouthpiece of the Empire, told us something both useful and truthful for a change. Remarkably, the media’s message was neither buried nor diluted.

While some might say that the story was "spun" and allowed to be broadcast as a foreboding warning to future "domestic terrorists" (as in, See what happens to “spies”)? Even so, the poisoned Russian spy story received incredible coverage as the message was heard ‘round the world. Three cheers (for once) for the US media that finally got something right: namely, that radiation destroys health and life. www.radiation.org .

It’s about time that we heard the truth, since radiation in America is typically portrayed as quite benign. Yes, even our family doctors and dentists (under the guidance of protocols established for them by prestigious medical boards on high) slam our bodies with radiation throughout our lives at least annually - and often, quite liberally. This seemingly innocuous "preventive" and "diagnostic" radiation used in our x-rays, breast-squeezing mammograms, and GI series and cardiac "nuclear medicine" tests is marketed as being safe in reasonable amounts and at low doses. The combination of the words "nuclear" and "medicine" in the same phrase is a misnomer that’s nothing short of pure genius on the part of the Empire.

It seems that everyone, from medicine to the nuclear industry to the US military wants to put a more friendly face on radiation these days! Dozens of new nuclear plants are currently on the drawing board. And for those who can still recall the horrific Chernobyl and Three Mile Island disasters? Grossly miscalculating that we have not told our children and grandchildren the tragic history of devastating nuclear accidents, those who push nuclear radiation as “safe” and “clean” on the younger generation in America are little better than drug dealers who push crack cocaine on young children.

With regard to the nuclear energy racket, according to the non-profit public watchdog group, Public Citizen, “Toward this end, nuclear companies have sought public approval by disingenuously presenting the energy source as clean, renewable, and necessary to deal with global warming, environmental degradation, and dwindling petroleum resources.”

In increasingly fascist America where there appear to be few lines of distinction drawn anymore between corporate interests and federal government? Nuke power plants are a mighty lucrative, government-subsidized, multi-billion dollar Big Business. And lest we be misled into believing that the new nukes push is entirely a GOP affair? It’s important to note that the new nuclear power plants are being sold to America from both sides of the political fence.

Just for starters, let’s take former Vice President Al Gore, who’s currently popular with today’s environmentalists. Yes, the man who has been successfully branded as MR. ENVIRONMENT, Mr. Gore talks about sustainable energies for the benefit of the vast and unsuspecting, clueless liberal audience, addressing the well-intentioned Democrat eco-lovers with an additional endorsement of radioactive nuclear power as A-OK!

It is important that all environmentalists listen carefully, however, to what Mr. Global Warming said recently in not only condoning nuclear power - but even increasing it!

Many believe that a responsible approach to sharply reducing global warming pollution would involve a significant increase in the use of nuclear power plants as a substitute for coal-fired generators. While I am not opposed to nuclear power and expect to see some modest increased use of nuclear reactors, I doubt that they will play a significant role in most countries as a new source of electricity.

In addition, in mid-October a new report released by the Progressive Policy Institute (the policy arm of the Democratic Leadership Council) claimed that “America faces a dangerous, long-term energy crisis” and actually posits with serious assertion that expanding nuclear power is part of a plan that would adequately address America’s distinct energy needs, clean up the air, and help combat climate change.

Apparently, the "progressive" notion of sustainable energy is a thing of the past, as fascism knows no boundaries with regard to politics. So it stands to reason that if Democrats are right on board with this administration regarding the use of radioactive uranium munitions, (since Depleted Uranium has been used by both Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush) and if both political parties are all a-quiver about increasing the number of new nuclear power plants? One must stop and try to understand the motivation of this bi-partisan passion to deliver increased doses of radioactivity upon the United States and the rest of the world.

Since promoting harmful radiation is being pushed by the federal government, the burning question, truly critical for the survival of our species and the planet at large, is simple. Is the drive to increase devastating harm to all life forms motivated by pure greed for monetary gain and profit alone... or is there something even deeper - and far more troubling - going on?

In thinking about the push to increase radiation upon the planet, it is helpful to examine the concepts of basic human passions and drives. Is the desire to make a buck the actual motivator behind those who purposely, knowingly promote the increase of harmful radiation into the atmosphere? Or is there something more to the desire to deliberately weaken, sicken, and destroy the health and genetic makeup of human beings and other forms of life? One wonders if there is perhaps not some other extraordinary, unspeakably vile motivation present in such individuals?

A strange and unusual breed of federal workers who knowingly, willingly comply with harming others are at work inside our government. These individuals are veritable anomalies of humankind. They, the promoters and pushers of radiation, nuclear energy and radioactive weapons designers, testers, and producers - are smart, learned, and possess full appreciation of the fact that radiation harms living things. Yet most curiously, Americans continue to allow these deviants, our ministers of death, to pursue their wanton and reckless use of these life-destroying, radioactive substances anyway.

Mental health professionals tell us that the desire to knowingly seek out ways to harm others is psychopathological in nature. What is more than curious, however, is why we continue to permit these individuals to remain employed in the nuclear energy and uranium weapons industries when we know that they possess this characteristic aberration of a life-destroying streak in them? Perhaps we need to run new federal employment ads that say: Psychopathic killers need not apply.

Certainly there must be some sort of psychological test that we could administer to our public servants in the pre-employment screening process to see if they actually get off on harming their fellow human beings? If not a written test, perhaps we could analyze them inside private booths. The radiation-loving subjects could each be given a box of Kleenex and a stack of glossy magazines depicting both fiery nuclear bomb blasts and children dying of cancer from war-torn countries as a result of Depleted Uranium. Later, we could check back with our federal employment candidates for tell-tale signs of stimulation and arousal.

These maniacs-gone-wild who work inside the US radiation-delivery industries undoubtedly do not pant heavily in the dark like other normal, hot-blooded healthy Americans in response to the stimulus of other warm human bodies. Instead, these vile, cold-blooded abominations of nature convene right out in the bright light of day during the federal work week, collaborating in gray cubicles as they cooperatively manifest the "dirtiest" fantasies known to humankind - including the obscene push for 4,000 new nuclear reactors and the lewd manufacture of unfathomably large quantities of radioactive poison used in the production of uranium bombs and weapons. http://tinyurl.com/y9mmlt

These beasts without conscience, our so-called leaders in government, undoubtedly must experience enormously cheap thrills as they continually succeed in their relentless drive for not only more nuke bombs, weapons, and power plants, but also the re-licensing of deteriorating, worn out, crumbling dinosaurs of nuclear power plants that spew toxic radioactive substances out into the environment, such as the one in Calvert Cliffs, MD where our "Nukuler" Commander-In-Chief visited last year.

It was quite interesting to read about the President’s visit as many wonderfully “glowing” things were said about nuclear energy power plants. Not surprisingly, the story of this very same nuclear power plant lauded by the President as the model of nuclear power plant re-licensing temporarily failed in an automatic emergency shutdown where the power was tripped on November 16, 2006. In a potentially devastating near-accident along the lines of a Three Mile Island, the Calvert Cliffs power plant, roughly 50 miles from the District of Columbia, experienced an emergency condition called a SCRAM (defined by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission as “the sudden shutting down of a nuclear reactor, usually by rapid insertion of control rods, either automatically or manually by the reactor operator. So with all these steamy “hot” dreams of radiation-lovers being set in motion, can there be any doubt that the US federal government workers cherish radiation at pathological levels? What else are we left to think, as we read with mouths wide open about the meticulously crafted masterminding of the cheerleaders of national radiation in the Department of Energy and their lofty goals to produce 125+ radioactive plutonium bomb "pits" each year in a new Plutonium Center? This is in addition to plans for new construction of uranium and tritium production facilities, culminating in what must surely be their grandiose, nearly climax-inducing weapons stockpiling plan, Complex 2030, http://www.complex2030peis.com/project.html which is being called "Bombplex" by both anti-war and anti-nuke activists.

Indeed, the recent headlines of the Russian spy’s death-by-radiation was a veritable gift to the US from Russia for those who have not yet come to realize that radiation in all its various forms weakens, sickens, and kills. The only real shame is that before he died, poor Mr. Litvinenko probably did not even realize that, by giving up his life through certainly what must have been an excruciating, burning end, he unknowingly served mankind in the ultimate act of martyrdom.

We, the sane Americans who fully realize the dangers of deadly radiation being pushed upon us by those in power with a passion for killing gone awry, should consider this an early Christmas present from Russia. For this holiday season, perhaps like no other before it, reverberations around this critical public health issue of death by radiation are unmistakably being now heard - and felt - throughout the world.
