Demos-Actions Agriculture - Fishery - Animals USA

After 35 years of hard work, the US organic community has built a multi-billion dollar alternative to industrial agriculture. Now large corporations, aided and abetted by the USDA and members of Congress, are moving to lower organic standards and seize control. For the sake of the earth and the health of the people we must stop them.

  • This is happening because the corporations have been bypassed in the organic revolution. The organic market is a multi-million dollar business that leaves out corporate interests like the chemical industry (fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, etc.). This cannot be tolerated by the chemical industry-they must be included in the profits, so we see the attempt to allow the introduction of their products into the organic matrix. As organic farmers we can still say no to the establishment and simply not use their products. As far as the consumer is concerned, we know where to find the adulterated "organic" produce-at the corporate owned grocery chains that are trying to get more money from customers. If you want real organic produce, buy it from a farmers market or directly from a family farm if possible. Bypass the corporate monkeys. We must take back our jobs and our future from the corporations and their government turd blossoms. Buy directly from the farmer and try to support individual business owners instead of the corporate machine. We have the money and we must take back our world and we will decide how it is run and organized-not corporations!
