The American Press and War Crimes

Dear ABC Owners and Editors,

You failed to note in your article "U.S. Adopts Tougher Stance at Guantanamo" less than 10 people out of over 400 have been charged with anything...except being in Afghanistan while Muslim. Got Geneva? Rarely in the past five years have you printed the truth about anything.

A class action lawsuit from military families may refresh your memory. We certainly have grounds and we will win-ask your own lawyers if you have any doubts.

OBL is dead- no kidding-and yes he was cornered at Tora-Bora. French intelligence had him cornered-but when we got there, someone from the pentagon (or higher) called it off. Didn’t see that on ABC.

You (CNN, ABC, CBS, and ect) are responsible for nearly one-third of all Americans who still believe there was a connection between 911, Iraq and Saddam.

You are also responsible for cheer leading this nation into an illegal war, based on lies, and have supported holding people in both wars against Geneva as well as our own military justice laws. As a criminal justice professional, I call that treason-what do you call it?

When the autopsy is done on the death of democracy, the diagnosis will be certain- ’media induced’. How do you live with yourselves? Please be sure and send this along to your real editors and owners-the defense contractors.

I would love to sign my real name, but who knows what kind of “arrangements†you might make for family members of mine in the military.

By the way, the vulgar and crass display of "hunting for WMD" in Bush’s’ office says it all about this so-called "liberal media"...and you all thought it was so funny. Ha-ha, look the president make a joke- of course you were all in on it together.

My friends’ son died looking for those weapons in Iraq, which never existed. Most intelligence professionals said so- so did American UN weapons inspectors-but you did not give them the time of day.

My friend’s son was the first National Guard soldier to die in his state, since WWII. His wife and nine year-old son found no humor in your jest either.

You sick bastards...I hope when your own children need clean drinking water (as the children of Iraq do) you come to realize your money won’t quench their thirst-or yours . Because apparently that is how far this thing will have to go, until you people act like Americans and tell the truth to the nation and the world.

Is it any wonder the world no longer trusts America? I do not trust America anymore and I have dedicated my entire professional life to this system of government. Democracy, Constitution, Bill of Rights-remember?
