Why is George Bush Afraid to Face Cindy Sheehan?

It is clear from the amount of time passed by that George Bush is afraid to face the mother of one of the young men he ordered into battle to die.

If his case on Iraq is so air tight, why is he unable to explain it in clear and simple terms to the mother of one of his dead soldiers? He’s on vacation, so he certainly must have the time.

Cindy Sheehan sacrificed her son for goals that appear to have shifted like the sand Casey died on. First it was WMD, then it was Saddam’s purported links to Al-Quaida, then it was Saddam was evil to the Iraqi people. The first two were proven false, and the last is not justification for invasion.

Why can’t he simply explain what the "noble cause" is that Casey Sheehan died for to Casey’s mother? The longer he avoids her the more he looks to be afraid to face her.

There is only one reason for him to fear explaining the "noble cause" to Cindy...if there is no such thing.

Sincerely,

Dan Stafford
