Edito Nuclear Wars and conflicts International Governments

by Jesse Jackson

Here we go again. The administration says ’’regime change’’ is needed. Warnings are issued about the threat posed by the ’’madman’’ who leads the oil-rich country. Alarming intelligence estimates are leaked about nuclear weapons programs. The vice president warns ’’monumental consequences’’ if the alleged efforts to develop nuclear weapons are continued. Neoconservatives call for military action. Administration operatives express scorn for international monitoring. The Pentagon is reported not only to be developing contingency plans for an assault, but already launching mock bombing runs to measure air defense capacities. Covert military incursions are said to be active on the ground.

This isn’t about the run-up to the Iraq invasion in 2002. These reports concern the administration’s drumbeat about Iran and its fundamentalist government. With violence rising in Afghanistan, Osama bin Laden still loose and civil war escalating in Iraq, it is preposterous for the administration to contemplate another war of choice in the Persian Gulf. But all signs point that way.

Iran has oil and gas — lots of it, second only to Saudi Arabia in reserves. It controls the straits of the Persian Gulf, where 40 percent of the world’s oil flows each day. It is headed by an Islamist fundamentalist who vows Israel should be wiped off the map. Iran admittedly has a nuclear energy program in process, and many believe that it is committed to building nuclear weapons.

But this may well be more about the United States than about Iran. President Bush’s polls are at record lows. Republicans face a brutal off-year election. Karl Rove has pledged to make the war on terror a partisan issue in the fall. It surely isn’t an accident that the White House is turning up the heat on Iran now, just as it did against Iraq in the run-up to the 2002 elections.

The White House preparations are ominous. Bush has said that an Iranian bomb is unacceptable. In dispatching troops to reconnoiter in Iran and airplanes to mock bombing runs, the White House is putting Iran and the world on notice: We’re ready to strike if Iran goes on with its program. Despite reservations from the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the New Yorker’s Seymour Hersh reports, the White House is contemplating the first use of nuclear weapons to ’’take out’’ the underground Iranian facilities that may be part of the weapons program.

Is it conceivable that a president who sees himself on a divine mission has learned nothing from the debacle in Iraq? Remember the bit about being greeted as ’’liberators’’ in Iraq? Now, according to an anonymous contractor in Hersh’s story, the White House is said to believe that the bombing will turn the people against the mullahs who run the government. That will counter the experience of every bombing effort since the invention of the airplane.

The question is whether the Congress and the American people will roll over or stand up and call the administration to account. Surely, this is the time for Republicans to put aside their partisan zealotry and hold hearings — open and public — that explore the nature of the threat posed by Iran, the programs already under way by the administration and the intelligence estimates, here and elsewhere, and what they really say.

Reportedly, the White House is briefing selected legislators — those who are cheerleaders for the war in Iraq. It doesn’t want hearings because it doesn’t want to inform the minority Democrats, much less the American people. The president believes he has absolute authority to launch a war of his choosing, without congressional approval, U.N. mandate or imminent threat.

War would destabilize the Persian Gulf. Terrorism would spread. Bin Laden and others would rouse 1.2 billion Muslims with cries that the United States is seeking to destroy Islam. America would be supported by few if any of our allies — and actively, if not directly, opposed by Russia and China. We need international diplomacy, not unilateral bomb rattling toward Iran. We need a concerted plan for energy independence, reducing our reliance on foreign oil. We need to engage the world’s nations in a grand alliance against terrorists — not isolate America as a rogue nation. It is time for Congress to act boldly and early before the administration rolls out another supposedly cost-efficient war in time for the fall elections.

  • Please GOD,give us all the strength and COURAGE to come up against these misguided NEO-CONS and stop them and their INSANE direction. I love life.Do we have mineral rights in the Middle East?If not, simply pay the market price for oil AND STOP the illegal warfare.with all due respect,Mr.Bush has little or NO historical perspective.AMERICANS-check the resumes of the people you elect Way More SERIOUSLY.kgb56

    • Alot of us DIDN’T vote for him/them EITHER TIME! Including me! But he/they cheated twice too! Plus, I HATE Bush and the PURE EVIL NEO-CONS but what do you want us to do? Absence a 2nd American Revolution, the aholes in D.C. AREN’T LISTENING TO "WE THE PEOPLE!" No matter who much we protest in streets! In case you have missed that fact! Like Chavez, my hero says, we in America are oppressed! And the damn corporate whore news media doesn’t help matters any beating Bush’s war drums for him and NOT telling people the truth! I don’t know how Jesse expects us to STOP this INSANITY! PLUS, WHY IN HELL CAN’T THE REST OF WORLD PUT BUSH, NOT AMERICA BUT BUSH REGIME ONLY, IN THEIR PLACE AND NOW!? The U.N. countries should all gang up and him and tell him NO, NO ATTACK ON IRAN,PERIOD! We have Hitler no.2 on our hands and not enough of the right people are trying to STOP him/them, i.e U.N countries or Congress or others! What do you want us to do? Suggestions? Jesse, What is your suggestion that we do? Stop him but HOW? F*cking gutless Congress sucks too, most of them! And the Neo-Cons are NOT misguided but PURE F*CKING EVIL GREEDY, LYING, MURDERING BASTARDS!

    • Looks like the U.S. is in a desperate need for a regime change instead of Iran. Haven’t they learnt anything from the lyrics of Marvin Gaye’s song "What’s Going On?"

    • Yes, these people need to be stopped. To do that, we all need to wake up from our sleepwalking. We’re sure as hell not in Kansas anymore. What’s happening in the US is a repeat of 1917 Russia -the Duma (Congress) hijacked by Zionists (neocons), the economy bled, army demoralized, followed by descent into tyranny at their hands.

Get the real facts on how this group has been pulling strings behind the scenes by listening to ex-Zionist Benjamin Freedman on the real causes of WWI, WWII and Middle East wars at:
http://www.erichufschmid.net/BenjaminFreedmansSpeech16.mp3 . Visit www.iamthewitness.com -one of the few websites dedicated to exposing this group’s horrible work in the world through Bush and others like him.

  • Hey, Did you read the article "Stop Bush Before He Attacks Iran" that Jesse Jackson wrote? Sorry Jesse, "You got it mostly wrong again." "Why do you write this kind of stuff?" Even your own body language in the above picture tells me you don’t totally believe it yourself!

Believe it or not Jesse, The world is a tough place and there are some really bad people out there that don’t like us (Americans that is). As for me, I like it here and everyone I know has it pretty nice. Sure there are problems but, how quickly you forget that a record number of Americans now own their own homes and will soon celebrate Memorial day with friends and relatives at picnics in their own backyards. Yes, Mr. Jackson, that is MEMORIAL DAY. Get it? It is not CAPITULATION DAY or TALK ABOUT IT DAY as you advocate. I like my boat, motorcycle, job, house family, car, sport activities, etc. and I would like to keep it that way. Thank the Lord we have a president like Bush that is not afraid to stand up for us and you too Mr. Jackson so we will have many more memorial days in our future. No one ever said it would be easy.

The easy way out for Bush would be to try to cover up the whole thing and pretend not to hear what Iran is saying. He certainly could do that, we have seen that behavior before, but unlike other administrations, our president has chosen to take a stand. Remember, what we do now and what we allow to happen now will be with us for a long time.

No, Mr. Jackson your approach is wrong. Let President Bush handle this as he is. I say we address the problem now before it gets out of hand. The last time I looked, America was the leader of the free world. Mr. Bush is a leader and I think he is doing a good job.

Thank you for writing your article because not only is it a free country and you can, it also give me an ordinary no name American the opportunity to respond.

    • You’re ignorance is astoundiing!

    • Obviously the message that Jesse Jackson will fall on deaf ears to the majority of Americans who are happy with the dictatorship regime they live within. In fact American today reminds me of 1933 in Germany everyone rejoice in their peaceful leader who was bringing light to the world and only engaging in wars reluctantly as a last resort to maintain freedom and peace.

History has a terrible habit of repeating itself. And some are just oblivious to it and others apathetic to it as they are benefiting from it.

Wake up America your leaders are lying to you. If you want to hit the home of terrorism they here are the directions.

BIG WHITE HOUSE IN WASHINGTON DC.

If you deal this pack of corrupt and evil men a bloody nose then world terrorism would be at an end overnight!!!!!

    • WRONG MORONIC SHEEP! JESSE IS RIGHT ON! BUSH IS HITLER NO.2 STUPID,SHEEP! BUSH WANTS REGIME CHANGE TO STEAL IRANS OIL WHILE PUTTING A PUPPET WHO ANSWERS TO HIM IN CHARGE OF IRAN! THEY LIED TO TAKE US TO WAR IN IRAQ AND AFGHANSTAN, MORONIC SHEEP OR DON’T YOU DUMB ASSES CARE THAT ALMOST 3000 OF OUR TROOPS HAVE BEEN SLAUGHTERED NEEDLESS AND 250,000 INNOCENT IRAQI’S SO BUSH,CHENEY AND OTHERS COULD NOT ONLY WAR PROFITEER OFF THEIR DEAD AND INJURIED BODIES BUT ALSO TO USE OUR POOR TROOPS AS HITLER USED HIS TO INVADE COUNTRIES AND INSTALL PUPPETS WHO ANSWER TO HIM! ALL THE WHILE BEING IN BED WITH REAL TERRORISTS! LOOK AT DUBAI PORT DEAL, GODDAMN STUPID SHEEP! THAT HELPS PROVE BUSH AND COHORTS ARE IN BED WITH REAL TERRORISTS! YOUR A TYPICAL BUSH SUPPORTER, SEE NO EVIL, HEAR NO EVIL, SPEAK NO EVIL, WHILE THE FUEHER MURDERS MORE INNOCENT PEOPLE AT HOME AND ABROAD!

    • You’re so dumn, you would even support Bush if he told you that your firstborn child had to be killed for the country. You would not question anything these criminals do. Look around you and wake up, moron!! You are part of an ever diminishing minority.

    • Man, I see in America the strongest and smartest men who’ve ever lived. I see all this potential, and I see squandering. God damn it, an entire generation pumping gas, waiting tables; slaves with white collars. Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy shit we don’t need. We’re the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our Great War’s a spiritual war... our Great Depression is our lives. We’ve all been raised on television to believe that one day we’d all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars. But we won’t. And we’re slowly learning that fact. And we’re very, very pissed off.

If we attack Iran, you can forget about your motorcycles, boats, and athletic activities you freaking moron!!

    • Your an idiot i agree. You may have your toys and home, enjoy them while you can. Thousands are loosing there jobs daily. Jobs are sent over sea’s taking away jobs here. Have fun with your toys and home while you can, they will be gone soon. And for your children and all children, they will be working like slaves to pay for what George Bush has done. They won’t get there toys or homes. You say there is a record number of people owning homes. Yes there is, but they will loose them because they paid way to much for the value and the interest rate will hurt them in the coming years as it goes up slowly. Cost of living will never keep up. So in turn you will see a record number of homes forclosed or on the market not getting sold. I suggest you do a little more reading and research Bush Lover.

    • Ignorance is bliss, or so they say... and you seem pretty happy with your "toys"... enjoy them now while you still can, you silly little boy... wow, are you suffering from delusions...

    • NEO-CONS.Repeat after me NEO-CONS are war mongers.BUSH is full of crap and always has been.He has helped his oil freinds get richer on our backs. Our service men and women are dieing for nothing. He lied about it all.We need to impeach BUSH Right now before more people die for nothing

    • FUCKING RETARD!!

    • News for you....those servicemen and women won’t be coming back as they are so filled with Depleted Uranium (illegal stuff they filled the bombs with and used in Iraq) in their bodies, the radiation will fill sickness wherever they go if they come home. I think the Neo-Cons call them collateral dispensibles.

    • You’re not an idiot. You just need to remove the blinders from your eyes.

    • Wow,
That was probably some of the "worst case senerio" of denial I have ever read. Any reasonable person, when confronted with the evidence who is keeping an open mind can clearly see that something is desperately wrong with our society.
Slowly but surely we are becoming more like a commodity to corporations and our government. This is by design to decimate the middle class. Just look at how our family structure has deteriorated for the last 50 years. The level of moral ineptitude is ever increasing, am I to expect that this is just how it is? thats the way it goes?
We the people of this great land are supposed to be the caretakers of ourselves but have become so dependant on the state (government) for too much. Just think about this for a second, does it strike you as being strange that most of the families you know, both parents are working just to get by? That is again by design, in order to increase the tax base which inturn feeds the government. Look I’m not some conspiricy promoter just pay attention to the whole picture. What happened to our control of our own destiny? didn’t we appoint the govenrment and grant them certain levels of authority with which in good faith they be responsible for running the everyday affairs of governing for the people? I’m scared of our government! truely scared and it just doesn’t feel right that a law abbiding citizen should feel this way.
There is discrimination rampant in this country, why? because the upper world elite class has designed it that way in order to keep us from paying attention to what they are doing up there. The real discrimination has nothing to do with race, white against black or whatever you happen to be it has to do with the very very rich believing that we all deserve to be used as worker bees or are not worthy to be equal. You know the old saying "the world needs ditch diggers too" mentality.
This is called CONTROLLED CONFLICT cause if we are buzy fighting and mistrusting each other then it would stand to reason that most average middle class working stiffs won’t pay attn to what they are doing. Just remember "absolute power corrupts absolutely!" and certainly you have to agree the worlds elite without question controls just about every aspect of our life. Could you ever survive without our commerce nowadays? no shopping malls or grocery stores of course not.
God forbid if anything was to happend to upset this delicate balance then i dear say many americans could not fend for themselves thats pretty scary dont you think?
It has been my past experience that a person who is trying to decieve me will try to speak louder in order to bolster a week position or try to say something like "your crazy you don’t know what your talking about" when confronted with the truth... right? But a person whos is being truthful invites debate and only asks that a person keeps an open mind to what ever subject they formulate an opinion about. Before I formulate my opinion I get as much unbiased factual information I can, look at both sides of a topic, for or against and depending upon my feelings I formulate my opinion. Now that is meerly my opinion, doesn’t mean I’m right all the time but at least I try to arrive at the truth with reasonable methods. I don’t believe everything my mom and dad or anyone for that matter portrays to be reality. I have my own mind and so do YOU so use it!! Gods greatest gift to mankind is our ability to reason it would be a shame to not use it because we just want to believe what we want to believe because thats how we were raised or told to belive. WE ALL have to perform our due dilligence and not just accept things that people say as fact without exploring WHY and to use a sound a common sense, fact gathering, method as the basis for how we formulate our opinions. I love this country too much to conceed it to people who are determined to take it all for themselves.
It is not only our right but It’s our duty to protect the original Constitution and our Bill of Rights that we are all worthy of regardless of race or social status from all agressors both foreign and domestic don’t you agree?

    • I am sorry - I am expressing a sincere apology to the entire world for the thoughts of this person. There are a few of us here in the United States that place compassion and human life ahead of our boats, homes, and other perks that we, as Americans, all enjoy. Not all of us believe we have the inherent right to run the world.........and not many of us "thank god" for our current leader. Most of us are quite humble as a matter of fact - we have lost thousands of our soldiers for reasons we truly do not know. We have a media that capitulates to corporate interests to the detriment of our entire nation and it’s people. I believe the individual that I am responding to is blind......blind to the fact that the middle-class, a class which he is most likely a member of, is quickly evaporating. When he wakes up - it will be too late.

    • Well said my friend

  • If this article hadn’t been written by that cretan, I’d agree. We’ve become the most dangerous nation on the planet and we’ve got to get off our collective fat-asses and stop the golbalists in charge of America. I wouldn’t trust Jackson if he told me the sun rises in the East. Don’t forget he’s the one who set-up King for the CIA to take out.

  • The idiot Bush would press the button on short notice from Kissinger. If Kissinger wanted another war, no one could stop him.

More than 70% of US politicians are either Zionists themselves or Zionist-installed Muppets. These Nodding Puppets are not stringed to act against their Puppetmasters. These Puppets will rubberstamp whatever they are told to do. They have been chosen to do just that.

The present and future state of America is very bleak. Americans knowingly and willingly have accepted their colonized States of Israel. Americans are pretending that they knew nothing about all the atrocities American military have committed against innocent and civilians around the world. They are acting as if there were nothing wrong; everything is cheerful and rosy. Americans are in their state of denials.

Worsening the stories, western nations are now either playing along or playing ignorant and letting war criminals committing more crimes.

Kissinger has got away after killing 3000 innocent lives on 9/11/2001, many of these 3000 were buried alive beneath the crumbles of The Twin Towers. Nothing can stop Kissinger to provoke Iran into killing American troops stationing around Iran; Kissinger will use future killed-by-Iranians American casualties to drive naive and ignorant Americans into his planned war against Iran.

    • The U.S. cannot afford another war....with the Trillions in debt and inability to service it, it will end up in a deep depression and become the biggest third world country!

  • So they have a plan to attack Iran’s nuclear capability? This is what militaries do, plan. For an air strike to take out nuclear plants, of course the Special Forces would have to go in to paint the targets. Good planers always leave all options open even nuclear ones. I don’t think it’s doable myself. If they think they have a mess in Iraq now this would leave US troops exposed. But than again that never stopped chicken hawk “W” before. This is the man who won’t protect his own country’s border, what a piece of a human trash... I think that if Iran is making nukes that the countries in missile range should step up a take care of it (if they want to). Why should the US protect Europe Israel Pakistan India China etc?

    • No wonder you have such weird thoughts with all that misinformation through phony American press.

    • I believe this is a controlled blog, it only allow those writing after the sensorship, It is asd the main stream media penterating in the internet, We thought we just started to have the limited freedom, but sensorship started to take control, God help this great nation
      amsaar

    • Hello??.....because Israel says so! Notice that they are the users...always using U.S. to do the job and not even participating in the coalition of the willing?

    • Hello?....because Israel says so! They have been using the U.S. to do their bidding for their insecurity issues and not even taking part in the coaliton of the willing.

    • So now we have Iraq as a way for war incorporated to loot the treasury and make Israel happy, all at the same time, how nice.

I would say what is wrong in doing so, we are paying with the blood and money to keep Israel exist, what is wrong to keep her happy, yr question is very strange, even though if we look to the other reality:

What harm could it make if Iran had bombs?
Iran did not attack any nation
Iran did not say it will make a bomb
Israel had a-bomb, and those who had nuke did use them like the criminal America, I know the truth is painful but u have to take it.
Israel in their own word says:
“Never in her history has Israel had the luxury of having 500,000 foreigners fight her wars for her, until now.”

      — Abba Eban, Foreign Minister to Israel, in reference to the 1st Gulf War.
do u want us to deny that?
      or:
"We are Judeo-Nazis, and why not? If your nice, civilized parents, rather than writing books about their love for humanity had instead come to Israel and killed six million Arabs, what would have happened? Sure, two or three nasty pages would have been written in the history books, and we would have been called all sorts of names, but we would be here today as a people of 25 million! What you don’t seem to understand is that the dirty work of Zionism is not finished yet, far from it.”

      — Ariel Sharon, 1982
      do u deny this too?
      or:
“Tell me, do the evil men of this world have a bad time? They hunt and catch whatever they feel like eating. They don’t suffer from indigestion and are not punished by Heaven. I want Israel to join that club. Maybe the world will then at last begin to fear us instead of feeling sorry. Maybe they will start to tremble, to fear our madness instead of admiring our nobility. Let them tremble; let them call us a mad state. Let them understand that we are a savage country, dangerous to our surroundings, not normal, that we might go wild, that we might start World War Three just like that, or that we might one day go crazy and burn all
Middle East. Personally, I don’t want to be any better than Harry Truman who snuffed out half million Japanese with two fine bombs."

      — Ariel Sharon, 1982
The Zionist have a problem when u confront them with the reality they will go out of logic and attack u with ant Semitism, now just remember we just quoted what they say, I am sure there r Jew who r victims of the Zionism victim of the Khazari ( 92% of the new Jew are Ashkenazi, they r not from Holy land, but from Khazari, like Ireland convert to Christianity, or 54 Chinese Moslem says they r Arabs won’t u laugh?). So no one buy the anti Semite records any more
"The anti-Semites will become our most loyal friends, the anti-Semite nations will become our allies."

      — Theodore Herzl, founder of Zionism
“The anti-Semite has no morals and no conscience. We must fill our jails and our asylums with anti-Semitic lunatics and we must harass them to such an extent that none will wish to become fellow travelers.”

      — Rabbi Leon Spitz, writing for ‘The American Hebrew,’ 1946
      God blesses humanity

I tried to post this on the main blog, with out success can u do it for me

  • Fitz has let us down completely - Please let people know about this:
    http://www.house.gov/hinchey/FitzgeraldResponseToHinchey.pdf

One page pdf linked at Rep. Hinchey’s site. Why did it take Fitz SIX MONTHS to offer his REFUSAL TO INVESTIGATE THE NIGER FORGERIES as requested by Rep. Hinchey and 39 other Democrats last October?

Fitz is a smart man, he tells Congressman Hinchey that the letter empowering him to investigate does not include investigating lies in the run up to war and he refers Rep. Hinchey to the DOJ site BUT WHY DID IT TAKE SPECIAL PROSECUTOR FITZGERALD SIX MONTHS TO FIGURE OUT HIS MANDATE???

Sign Petition Opposing Attack on Iran Submitted by davidswanson on Mon, 2006-04-10

[This Petition and signatures and comments will be delivered to the White House by many activists, including Cindy Sheehan.]

Dear President Bush and Vice President Cheney,

We write to you from all over the United States and all over the
world to urge you to obey both international and U.S. law, which
forbid aggressive attacks on other nations. We oppose your proposal
to attack Iran. Iran does not possess nuclear weapons, just as Iraq
did not possess nuclear weapons. If Iran had such weapons, that would
not justify the use of force, any more than any other nation would be
justified in launching a war against the world’s greatest possesor of
nuclear arms, the United States. The most effective way to prevent
Iran from developing nuclear weapons would be to closely monitor its
nuclear energy program, and to improve diplomatic relations — two
tasks made much more difficult by threatening to bomb Iranian
territory. We urge you to lead the way to peace, not war, and to
begin by making clear that you will not commit the highest
international crime by aggressively attacking Iran.

    • If I were from the US, I’d be signing petitions asking members of Congress to impeach Bush (there’s plenty of reason for that). Indeed, signing petitions asking Bush/Cheney not to attack Iran will most likely have the opposite effect. The more people talk about the US attacking Iran, the more the Bush administration feels empowered to do so.

  • ....JIM LEHRER: If the leadership of the U.S. government had listened to
you and your fellow military leaders, what would be the situation in
    Iraq today?

MAJ. GEN. JOHN BATISTE: Well, first off, I think we have got to
complete the mission in Iraq. We have no option; we need to be
successful; we need to set the Iraqi people up for self-reliance.

With their form of representative government that takes into account
tribal, religious and ethnic complexity that defines that country is
nothing new. The Brits had a hell of a time with that in the ’10s
and ’20s of the last century, nothing new at all. And we got to set
them up for self-reliance so they can go on it on their own.

I think we’re going to be successful. There’s nothing this country
can’t do, if we put our mind to it, but we need to do it right. We
    need to mobilize this country.

When I returned from Germany after three years, I was shocked to see
that business was as usual. Other than an occasional family that was
committed to the war because one of their soldiers was in the fight,
or sadly too many families whose soldiers had been killed or wounded,
who really understand what sacrifice is all about, the rest of
America only makes a decision whether they’re going to put a yellow
or red "Support Your Troops" sticker on the back of your car. And my
    question is: Why?

When we’re spending $6 to $9 billion a month, depending what you
read, we’re mortgaging our future. And I believe Americans will stand
up and do whatever they’re asked to do. It might be some form of
rationing; I don’t know. We have experience in World War I, Korea,
World War II on how to do this. This country is incredibly patriotic,
and we would get up on our feet and support the president whatever he
    asked us to do.

JIM LEHRER: But that’s an indictment of the president, not of
    Secretary Rumsfeld, correct?

MAJ. GEN. JOHN BATISTE: I’m not indicting the president one bit. I’m
just saying that I came back from Germany to my country and I found
that the people were not mobilized, not sacrificing for this
incredible effort. If it’s the country’s main effort, let’s all get
    behind it.

JIM LEHRER: General, finally, is this a one-shot deal for you? Are
you going to keep speaking out, as long as the situation remains what
    it is in Iraq?

MAJ. GEN. JOHN BATISTE: I feel strongly about it, and I have never
    quit anything in my life.

JIM LEHRER: General, thank you very much.

MAJ. GEN. JOHN BATISTE: Thank you, Jim.

    • With the $6 to $ 9Billion we could spend in lifting the poverty in the USA, do you know how many millions who live under poverty line? 37 Million, be patriotic and put the highly borrowed money with high interest where yr mouth is, the charity start at home. Why we have to fight some one else wars, this is 21st century, are we still that dumb? What do u think of this:
“Never in her history has Israel had the luxury of having 500,000 foreigners fight her wars for her, until now.”

When Mr. Bush took office the total government debt was $6 trillion, we are approaching the $9 trillion now, do u know how much every family to pay for it? not less $ 33000 each including the
new born child today. So what is our priorty the desrtuction of the world or rebuilding America. We should all say with one voice AMERICA FIRST, AMERICA FIRST AMERICA FIRST, can we?

  • What a bunch of "WIMPS" Iran has already told you what they are going to do with the BOMB. Poland, thats it, I promise, promise promise. Ha, Ha, Ha, got you again! Don’t you people ever learn. As for the current costs, we should have gotten started when Clinton was in office, but, he chose to overlook just about everything, well, not quite everything. It would have been less costly then. I don’t know about you folks, but I would rather have to pay for the future than not have one at all.

Is security of others more essential than elevating our porerty?
Is neworlean higher priority than rebuilding/destroying Iraq?
Are we really serious to start new war, and pay it by our Blood (Human fuels"marines") and our borrowed money with interest?
    where is the lojec?
Our enemy is home grown, its called the FEDRAL RESERVE Bank, its neither Fedreal nor it has any reserve. It is worst than any standing army as our founding father descovered. If the wheel invented, are we so dumb to reinvent it?

  • What’s the different Regan, Bush-1, Clinton, Bush the neo dummy they’re all came out of the same mold. Global trade is more important than the people they’re supposal represent. Welcome to the one world order, where everyone else’s interest is put above the American peoples... Sure we (US) have to make Israel’s safe from Iran. Lobbyist have ran the US since the 60‘s, at least. Israel has one of the biggest lobbies and a sizeable fifth column. So now we have Iraq as a way for war incorporated to loot the treasury and make Israel happy, all at the same time, how nice.

I would say what is wrong in doing so, we are paying with the blood and money to keep Israel exist, what is wrong to keep her happy, yr question is very strange, even though if we look to the other reality:

What harm could it make if Iran had bombs?

Iran did not say it will make a bomb
Israel had a-bomb, and those who had nuke did use them like the criminal America, I know the truth is painful but u have to take it.

    • The money masters should be seen by all! It lays a very clear picture of what is going on right now in the world. WAR = DEBT = DEPENDANCE. Bush, Chaney and Co are simply pawns to the money changers.....By starting the next world war, all nations involved will generate huge debts. Because of these debts they will be forced to accept some sort of world currency (issued through the World Bank) with the money changers having control over the supply of that currency. As the Money Masters showes, they will then control the world. Remember, it took the Money Changers to piss Jesus off. They took down the Roman Empire. They have led us into wars including the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, The war of 1812, World War I and World War II. If we don’t take down the Federal Reserve (central banks) and fractional reserve lending, the Money Changers will take us to World War III. Monetary Reform must be the single biggest issue facing our country right now. Money and the Money Changers are the root of all EVIL.

  • Thanks for letting me know the money master, it is an eye openning event,it has reminded me of little old story of wolf in a sheep dress while telling and warinning the sheep how the FOX is dangerous TO THE SHEEP, and the SHEEP did beilve that the FOX is No one enemy. • Thanks for the article, Jesse. At least Bush won’t be able to run again and a higher percentage of congress is aware of his misdirections and Generals are calling for Rumsfield to resign. Hopefuly this awareness will have some effect at curbing Bush but I am worried about a greater power grab by Cheney and whether he will find a way to make himself president before the end of Bush’s term and with Diebold’s help get himself "elected" president next term. I don’t believe that without Diebold’s help and unidentified persons tampering with voting computers just before recounts, and without new democratic voter registration forms being tossed in some states by voter registration drive supervisors while republican forms were submitted and a few other questionable items Bush would be president now.

    • “Ahmadinejad? Who’s he?”

This was the typical reaction of most Iranians a day after the first round of presidential elections in Iran, when they heard that the two candidates facing each other in the run-off were veteran politician Ayatollah Ali-Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani and the little-known, ultra-conservative mayor of Tehran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Last week’s surprise was all forgotten by the much bigger shock on Friday, when Ahmadinejad defeated the former President and iconic figure in the ruling theocracy in a landslide victory that consolidated power in the hands of the ruling Islamic clerics.

With spotlights now trained on the small, bearded figure in a trademark dilapidated grey suit, Ahmadinejad’s murky past is causing deep anxiety in Iran and growing concern abroad over the new President’s policies and orientation.

Born in the desert town of Garmsar, east of Tehran, in 1956, Ahmadinejad was the fourth child of a working class family with seven children. His father, who was a blacksmith, moved the family to Tehran when Ahmadinejad was barely a year old. He was brought up in the rough neighbourhoods of south Tehran, where a cocktail of poverty, frustration and xenophobia in the heydays of the Shah’s elitist regime provided fertile grounds for the rise of Islamic fundamentalism.

After finishing high school, Ahmadinejad went to Elm-o Sanaat University in 1975 to study engineering. Soon the whirlwind of Islamic revolution led by Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini swept him from the classroom to the mosque and he joined a generation of firebrand Islamic fundamentalists dedicated to the cause of an Islamic world revolution.

Student activists in Elm-o Sanaat University at the time of the Iranian revolution were dominated by ultra-conservative Islamic fundamentalists. Ahmadinejad soon became one of their leaders and founded the Islamic Students Association in that university after the fall of the Shah’s regime.

In 1979, he became the representative of Elm-o Sanaat students in the Office for Strengthening of Unity Between Universities and Theological Seminaries, which later became known as the OSU. The OSU was set up by Ayatollah Mohammad Beheshti, who was at the time Khomeini’s top confidant and a key figure in the clerical leadership. Beheshti wanted the OSU to organise Islamist students to counter the rapidly rising influence of the opposition Mojahedin-e Khalq (MeK) among university students.

The OSU played a central role in the seizure of the United States embassy in Tehran in November 1979. Members of the OSU central council, who included Ahmadinejad as well as Ibrahim Asgharzadeh, Mohsen (Mahmoud) Mirdamadi, Mohsen Kadivar, Mohsen Aghajari, and Abbas Abdi, were regularly received by Khomeini himself.

According to other OSU officials, when the idea of storming the U.S. embassy in Tehran was raised in the OSU central committee by Mirdamadi and Abdi, Ahmadinejad suggested storming the Soviet embassy at the same time. A decade later, most OSU leaders re-grouped around Khatami but Ahmadinejad remained loyal to the ultra-conservatives.

During the crackdown on universities in 1980, which Khomeini called the “Islamic Cultural Revolution”, Ahmadinejad and the OSU played a critical role in purging dissident lecturers and students many of whom were arrested and later executed. Universities remained closed for three years and Ahmadinejad joined the Revolutionary Guards.

In the early 1980s, Ahmadinejad worked in the “Internal Security” department of the IRGC and earned notoriety as a ruthless interrogator and torturer. According to the state-run website Baztab, allies of outgoing President Mohammad Khatami have revealed that Ahmadinejad worked for some time as an executioner in the notorious Evin Prison, where thousands of political prisoners were executed in the bloody purges of the 1980s.

In 1986, Ahmadinejad became a senior officer in the Special Brigade of the Revolutionary Guards and was stationed in Ramazan Garrison near Kermanshah in western Iran. Ramazan Garrison was the headquarters of the Revolutionary Guards’ “extra-territorial operations”, a euphemism for terrorist attacks beyond Iran’s borders.

In Kermanshah, Ahmadinejad became involved in the clerical regime’s terrorist operations abroad and led many “extra-territorial operations of the IRGC”. With the formation of the elite Qods (Jerusalem) Force of the IRGC, Ahmadinejad became one of its senior commanders. He was the mastermind of a series of assassinations in the Middle East and Europe, including the assassination of Iranian Kurdish leader Abdorrahman Qassemlou, who was shot dead by senior officers of the Revolutionary Guards in a Vienna flat in July 1989. Ahmadinejad was a key planner of the attack, according to sources in the Revolutionary Guards.

Ahmadinejad served for four years as the governor of the towns of Maku and Khoy in northwestern Iran. In 1993, he was appointed by Minister of Islamic Culture and Guidance Ali Larijani, a fellow officer of the Revolutionary Guards, as his cultural adviser. Months later, he was appointed as the governor of the newly-created Ardebil Province.

In 1997, the newly-installed Khatami administration removed Ahmadinejad from his post and he returned to Elm-o Sanaat University to teach, but his principal activity was to organize Ansar-e Hezbollah, a radical gang of violent Islamic vigilantes.

Since becoming mayor of Tehran in April 2003, Ahmadinejad has been using his position to build up a strong network of radical Islamic fundamentalists organised as “Abadgaran-e Iran-e Islami” (literally, Developers of an Islamic Iran). Working in close conjunction with the Revolutionary Guard’s, Abadgaran was able to win the municipal elections in 2003 and the parliamentary election in 2004. They owed their victories as much to low turnouts and general disillusionment with the “moderate” faction of the regime as to their well-oiled political and military machinery.

Abadgaran bills itself as a group of young neo-Islamic fundamentalists who want to revive the ideals and policies of the founder of the Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Khomeini. It was one of several ultra-conservative groups that were setup on the orders of Ayatollah Khamenei in order to defeat outgoing President Mohammad Khatami’s faction after the parliamentary elections in February 2000.

Ahmadinejad’s record is typical of the men chosen by Khamenei’s entourage to put a new face on the clerical elite’s ultra-conservative identity. But beyond the shallow façade, few doubt that the Islamic Republic under its new President will move with greater speed and determination along the path of radical policies that include more human rights abuses, continuing sponsorship of terrorism, and the drive to obtain nuclear weapons.

    PRESS CENSORS IRAN LETTER

BIG NEWS ACROSS WORLD,BUT NOT HERE IN AMERICA

    Mainstream Mum on Iran Letter

Iran’s Ahmadinejad quizzes George Bush on human rights, Sept. 11 investigation, Christianity, Israel, terrorism, America’s looting of the world and more . . .

Presented here is the abbreviated text of a letter written by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and addressed to President George W. Bush. Although the mass media in America has mentioned the letter in passing, few Americans have actually had the opportunity to read it. It is the first direct communication between the governments since the U.S. embassy was stormed and hostages seized in 1979. American Free Press is pleased to provide this slightly edited version so that readers can draw their own conclusions about the Iranian leader.

    MR. GEORGE BUSH,
PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA:

For some time now I have been thinking how one can justify the undeniable contradictions that exist in the international arena—which are being constantly debated especially in political forums and among students. Many questions remain unanswered. These have prompted me to discuss some of the contradictions and questions. . . .

Can one be a follower of Jesus Christ, the great messenger of God, feel obliged to respect human rights, present liberalism as a civilization model, announce one’s opposition to the proliferation of nuclear weapons and WMDs, make [opposition to] “War and Terror” his slogan, and finally, work toward the establishment of a unified international community—a community which Christ and the virtuous of the Earth will one day govern, but at the same time, have countries attacked; the lives, reputations and possessions of people destroyed. . . .

Or because of the possibility of the existence of WMDs in one country, it is occupied, around 100,000 people killed, its water sources, agriculture and industry destroyed, close to 180,000 foreign troops put on the ground, sanctity of private homes of citizens broken, and the country pushed back perhaps 50 years? At what price?

Hundreds of billions of dollars spent from the treasury of one country and certain other countries, and tens of thousands of young men and women—as occupation troops—put in harm’s way, taken away from family and loved ones, their hands stained with the blood of others, subjected to so much psychological pressure that every day some commit suicide and those returning home suffer depression, become sickly and grapple with all sorts of ailments; while some are killed.

On the pretext of the existence of WMDs, this great tragedy came to engulf both the peoples of the occupied and the occupying country. Later it was revealed that no WMDs existed.

Of course Saddam was a murderous dictator. But the war was not waged to topple him, the announced goal of the war was to find and destroy weapons of mass destruction. He was toppled along the way toward another goal, nevertheless the people of the region are happy about it. I point out that throughout the many years of the war on Iran, Saddam was supported by the West.

Mr. President, I am a teacher. My students ask me how these actions can be reconciled with the tradition of Jesus Christ, the messenger of peace and forgiveness.

There are prisoners in Guantanamo Bay who have not received trials, have no legal representation, their families cannot see them and are obviously kept in a strange land outside their own country. There is no international monitoring of their condition and fate. No one knows whether they are prisoners, POWs, accused or criminals. Investigators have confirmed the existence of secret prisons in Europe, too.

Young people, university students and ordinary people have many questions about the phenomenon of Israel. Throughout history many countries have been occupied, but I think the establishment of a new country with a new people is a new phenomenon that is exclusive to our times.

Students are saying that 60 years ago such a country did not exist. They show old maps and try, [but] we have not been able to find a country named Israel.

I tell them to study the history of World War I and II. One of my students told me that during World War II, in which tens of millions of people perished, news about the war was quickly disseminated by the warring parties. After the war, they claimed 6 million Jews had been killed. Six million people that were surely related to at least 2 million families. Again let us assume that these events are true.

Does that logically translate into the establishment of the state of Israel in the Middle East or support for such a state? How can this phenomenon be rationalized or explained? Mr. President, I am sure you know how—and at what cost—Israel was established:

    • Many thousands were killed in the process;
    • Millions of indigenous people were made refugees;
    • Hundreds of thousands of hectares of farmland, olive plantations, towns and villages were destroyed.

This tragedy is not exclusive to the time of [Israel’s] establishment; unfortunately it has been ongoing for 60 years now.

A regime has been established which does not show mercy even to kids, destroys houses while the occupants are still in them, announces beforehand its list and plans to assassinate Palestinian figures and keeps thousands of Palestinians in prison. Such a phenomenon is unique—or at the very least extremely rare—in recent memory.

Another big question asked by people is why this regime is being supported. Is support for this regime in line with the teachings of Jesus Christ or Moses or liberal values? Or are we to understand that allowing the original inhabitants of these lands . . . to determine their fate runs contrary to principles of democracy? . . .

If not, why is there so much opposition to a referendum? The newly elected Palestinian administration recently took office. All independent observers have confirmed that this government represents the electorate. Incredibly, they have put the elected government under pressure and have advised it to recognize the Israeli regime, abandon the struggle and follow the programs of the previous government.

If the current Palestinian government had run on the above platform, would the Palestinian people have voted for it?

It is not my intention to pose too many questions, but I need to refer to other points as well. Why is it that any technological and scientific achievement reached in the Middle East regions is . . . portrayed as a threat to the Zionist regime?

Is not scientific research and development one of the basic rights of nations?

Aside from the Middle Ages, in what other point in history has scientific and technological progress been a crime? Can the possibility of scientific achievements being utilized for military purposes be reason enough to oppose science and technology altogether? If such a supposition is true, then all scientific disciplines, including physics, chemistry, mathematics, medicine, engineering etc, must be opposed.

Mr. President, don’t Latin Americans have the right to ask why their elected governments are being opposed and coup leaders supported? Or why they must constantly be threatened and live in fear?

The people of Africa are hardworking, creative and talented. They can play an important and valuable role in providing for the needs of humanity and contribute to its material and spiritual progress. Poverty and hardship in large parts of Africa are preventing this from happening.

Don’t they have the right to ask why their enormous wealth—including minerals—is being looted, despite the fact that they need it more than others?

Again, do such actions correspond to the teachings of Christ and the tenets of human rights? The brave and faithful people of Iran too have many questions and grievances, including the coup d’etat of 1953 and the subsequent toppling of the legal government of the day, opposition to the Islamic revolution, transformation of an embassy into a headquarters supporting the activities of those opposing the Islamic Republic (many thousands of pages of documents corroborate this claim), support for Saddam in the war waged against Iran, the shooting down of the Iranian passenger plane, freezing the assets of the Iranian nation, increasing threats, anger and displeasure vis-à-vis the scientific and nuclear progress of the Iranian nation (just when all Iranians are jubilant and collaborating their country’s progress), and many other grievances that I will not refer to in this letter.

Mr. Bush: Sept. 11 was a horrendous incident. The killing of innocents is deplorable. . . . Our government immediately declared its disgust with the perpetrators and offered its condolences to the bereaved. . . . All governments have a duty to protect the lives, property and good standing of their citizens. Reportedly your government employs extensive security . . . and intelligence systems. . . . Sept. 11 was not a simple operation. Could it be planned and executed without coordination with intelligence and security services—or their extensive infiltration?

Why have the various aspects of the attacks been kept secret? Why aren’t we told who botched their responsibilities? And why aren’t those responsible identified and put on trial? All governments have a duty to provide security and peace of mind for their citizens. . . . After 9-11, instead of healing and tending to the emotional wounds of the survivors and the American people . . . some Western media . . . constantly talked about the possibility of new terror attacks and kept the people in fear. Is that a service to the American people? . . .

Why was the media, instead of conveying a feeling of security and providing peace of mind, giving rise to a feeling of insecurity? Some believe that the exaggerations paved the way—and were the justification—for an attack on Afghanistan.

Again I refer to the role of media. . . . Correct dissemination of information and honest reporting of a story are established tenets. I express my deep regret about the disregard shown by certain Western media for these principles. The main pretext for an attack on Iraq was the existence of WMDs.

This was repeated incessantly—for the public to finally believe—and to lay the groundwork for an attack on Iraq. Will the truth not be lost in a contrived climate?

Mr. President, in countries around the world, citizens provide for the expenses of governments so that their governments in turn are able to serve them.

The question here is: What have the hundreds of billions of dollars spent every year to pay for the Iraqi campaign produced for the citizens?

As your excellency is aware, in some states of your country, people are living in poverty. Many thousands are homeless, and unemployment is a huge problem. These problems exist—to a larger or lesser extent—in other countries as well. With these conditions in mind, can the gargantuan expenses of the campaign—paid from the public treasury—be explained and be consistent with the aforementioned principles?

What has been said are some of the grievances of the people around the world in our region and in your country. But my main contention—I am hoping you will agree to some of it—is:

Those in power have a specific time in office and do not rule indefinitely, but their names will be recorded in history and will be constantly judged in the immediate and distant futures. The people will scrutinize our presidencies.

Did we manage to bring peace, security and prosperity for the people or insecurity and unemployment?

How long must the people of the world pay for the incorrect decisions of some rulers? How much longer will the specter of insecurity—raised from the stockpiles of weapons of mass destruction—haunt the people of the world? How much longer will the blood of innocent men, women and children be spilled on the streets and people’s houses destroyed over their heads?

Are you pleased with the current condition of the world? Do you think present policies can continue?

If billions of dollars spent on security, military campaigns and troop movement were instead spent on investment and assistance for poor countries, promotion of health, combating different diseases, education and improvement of mental and physical fitness, assistance to the victims of natural disasters, creation of employment opportunities and production, development projects and poverty alleviation, establishment of peace, mediation between disputing states and extinguishing the flames of racial, ethnic and other conflicts where would the world be today?

Would not your government and your people be justifiably proud? Would not your administration’s political and economic standing have been stronger? And . . . would there have been an ever-increasing global hatred of the American government?

All prophets speak of peace and tranquility for man—based on monotheism, justice and respect for human dignity. Do you not think that if all of us come to believe in and abide by these principles, that is, monotheism, worship of God, justice, respect for the dignity of man, belief in the [End Times], we can overcome the present problems of the world—that are the result of disobedience to the Almighty and the teachings of prophets—and improve our performance?

Do you not think that belief in these principles promotes and guarantees peace, friendship and justice? Do you not think that the aforementioned written or unwritten principles are universally respected? Will you not accept this invitation?

That is a genuine return to the teachings of prophets to monotheism and justice to preserve human dignity and obedience to the Almighty and His prophets.

Mr. President, history tells us that repressive and cruel governments do not survive. God has entrusted the fate of man to them. The Almighty has not left the universe and humanity to their own devices. Many things have happened contrary to the wishes and plans of governments. These things tell us that there is a higher power at work and all events are determined by Him. Can one deny the signs of change in the world today?

The people of the world are not happy with the status quo and pay little heed to the promises and comments made by a number of influential world leaders. Many people around the world feel insecure and oppose the spreading of insecurity and war and do not approve of and accept dubious policies.

The people are protesting the increasing gap between the haves and the have-nots and the rich and poor countries. The people are disgusted with increasing corruption. The people of many countries are angry about the attacks on their cultural foundations and the disintegration of families. They are equally dismayed with the fading of care and compassion.

The people of the world have no faith in international organizations because their rights are not advocated by these organizations.

Liberalism and Western-style democracy have not been able to help realize the ideals of humanity. Today these two concepts have failed. Those with insight can already hear the sounds of the shattering and fall of the ideology and thoughts of the liberal democratic systems.

We increasingly see that people around the world are flocking toward a main focal point—that is Almighty God.

Undoubtedly through faith in God and the teachings of the prophets, the people will conquer their problems. My question for you is, “Do you not want to join them?”

Mr. President, whether we like it or not, the world is gravitating toward faith in the Almighty and justice and the will of God will prevail over all things.

    Mahmoud Ahmadinejad
President of the Islamic Republic of Iran

    • Jessy Jackson raises some of the good questions but his solutions, other than a populist appeal for people to rise massively to stop the "criminal process" in action, - understated by Jessy as a mere radically wrong policy approach, toward a systematic structural revival-rebuilding process set-in since 9/11, or 1975, or as Bill Still ( a neo-Kenesian economist , Freedman school ) explains as being in process since European Banking system of Feudalistic era carried onto modern times and especially since end of 19th century exposed by The American Revolution, The Civil War, and the 1914, 1929/33, 1937-1945 etc...; which according to Marx and Lenin’s structural-global approach , ever since the process of development of modern mass production of commodoty production of monopoly seeking capitalism, concentrating capital in the hands of the industrialists and banking and commerce capitalists and speculators of money and capital that created the mass leisure capitalist class that lives of of the labor of the masses, developing into imperialist - monopolist capitalism with it’s final stages developed into State Monopoly Capitalism plus acquiring World Monopoly Financial power dominating few imperialist states emerging and acquiring the five characteristics of imperialism and war situations described in Lenin’s Thesis of Highest Stage of Capitalism in 1916 !
Therefore indeed , Jessy Jackson’s solutions are very insufficient and he is well aware of it , because he used his very solutions and political anti-war progressive actions and those solutions presented again in this present article, to stop the second part of The War in Iraq , but was totally unsuccessfull , as for that matter , the whole Left Coalition led anti-war movements after 1992 have been unsuccessefull to stop The New World Order from establishing its permenant war politics ( even with more than 15 millions taking to street all over the world in 15 Feb 2003 ! Even, after the 1917 successefull revolution in Russia, was indeed unable to stop effectively any war since 1936 / 1945 , except for semisuccess in India led eventually by Gandi in 1947, successefull communist revolutions in Mao’s China in 1949 , semi-sucess in revolutionary war in Korea 1951/52, semi-success in heroic revolutionary war in VietNam, success in Cuba by Castro and Che 1961, semi-success in Anti-Colonialist revolutionary wars in Africa 1950- to present days creating more relative independant african states with respect to colonialist western governors ruling in Colonialist Africa since 18th and 19th centuries !
However we can add immediately that no successful solutions to stop these international criminal system ( correctly described as criminal by communists, since over 2 millions killed in 1865, The Civil War, 1871 crimes and massacres in French - Paris Commune government against people and massacres of working class districts etc... , since WWI and WWII war crimes and genocide crimes added to shear devastations , large scale massacres and nation building or state creations by the Modern Bourgeoisie and its criminal and Napolionic militarist campaigns all paid directly by working class and nations and oppressed peoples , plus crimes of slavary and national anhillations against native civilizations and peoples all over the world since 1800 and accelerated since 1900, all killed massively for the insatiable quest of Gold, markets and geopolitical absolute power and domination for this capitalist system , which has never abandonned the Gold standard in fact ( becoming immaterial for the modern N.W.O. , but just as lenin explains becoming itself a commodity to be kept out of the hand of neo-keynesians that still dream of going back to the Gold Standard and those revolved days !! ) , as Bill Still explains partially only that the 70% of it is "legally" stolen from Fort Knox and it is in the costody of few foundations forming the "joint foundation bank of International Bankers , but in fact to disallow the going back to the old monetary system as in USA , done by their Federal concentrated system since 1865, or for The Great Depression days , that all gold possession became state monopoly
( and developped into Financial Multi-Nationals’ private global power today ) !
However big set-backs occurred with the fall of revolutionary large bases of Eastern Europe, Russia and now China and other former communist countries into the youg of International Monopoly Finance Capital, developped today into a higher stage of concentration of monopoly fiduciary credit capital, than Lenin described it in its’ first emerging stages of 1871 - 1921 ! namely the " False Credit Imperialism " or still using mainly the USA army , as its last National State Monopoly Capitalist base of " Debt - Money " imperialist state capitalism ( which is a Fiat-Money creation of USA Government Bonds available on International Markets for Sale to public or private corporations or individuals, as Chinese government acquiring 400 Billions of them etc... ), has been more successefull so far than the world revolutionary communist movement ( not forgetting the Nepalese semi-successfull revolution , not having said its last word yet, or the new wave of mass movements of peoples and states towards writing new pages of socialism in Latin America today ! ) World Wars yesterday, and permenant war today is the golden imperialist rule for the higher concentration of capital into fewer and fewer hands and the bourgeoisie’s massive bureaucracys upholding its leisure class on the back of workers all-over the globe !
Therefore , it is true to say , that so far this concentrated political power has been developing so rapidly as to "by-pass" and "master-over" the working class revolutionary movements of the working class and peoples in Europe 1871- 1989, in Americas , in Eastern Europe 1945-1989, in Russia 1917-1989, in China 1949-1972/75, etc... An now , since 1991 it is openly declaring a New World Order, and is set to conquer the absolute monopoly power over all world strategic resources, and absolute domination on all dis-obeying cultures or political states or countries which will not be completely sub-dued to its absolute dictates of its created world institutions since 1945 : of United Nation, World International courts and world concentrated capital at the hands of private " joint corporations - based in Basel Switzerland - as Bill Still explains in Money Masters 3 etc.. , represented by IMF, World Bank, BIS ( Bank of International Settlements - for Multi Nationals and Regional Economies Nafta, EU, etc..., into gaining accelerated momentum even with the big Depression Moves started from S.E. Asia in 1997 , to strangulate all economies of the world, sub-due all regions and nations and states, and gain absolute control of the most strategic resources of our planet and establish military bases in all strategic regions of the world !
In looking at solutions presented by the New Left parties in europe, new anti-capitalist waves in FSM or in Latin America ( except for the RIM revolutionary solutions that we can come to toward the end ! ) , Communist parties or syndicate leaders in europe , mostly tailing the Neo-Kenisians or the new socialist reformist party’s solutions and mesures, inorder to fight back against this new stage of devastating permenant-war permenent depression set monopoly "fiat-Money-Imperialism" , one has indeed to say that no revolutionary solution is presented for the semi-bad defined imperialist new power in action today in the world ! Lenin’s solution of calling a new revolutionary International ( The Comintern in 1919 ) is still looking as to be more timliness than much of the present half-cooked analysis of neo-keynesians today ! For example , the solutions presented by Bill Still , that most neo-republicans, citizen movements and other colorfull "revolutions" or radical reformists also go for today , are mere "national scale" solutions instead of an international or global complete solutions sought or presented ! " Withdrawl of USA from IMF , BIS or other world institutions , are progressive and even partly resisted or advocated even by some people in GWBush’s administration , but it is hardley a semi-radical or radical solution to stop the astronomical deficit spending of the modern imperialism ! Even confiscation of the power of making money by differential banking system and concentrating money control back into the state hands, advocated by neo-keynesians and as may appeal or appear to be anti-private banking movements ( such as performed by Mitterand in France 1981-1987 ! only looks left and can still deceive many syndicate leaders ! ) , but does not addresse the other 9/10 th of the problem caused by State Monopoly Capitalism and its closely knit relations with the world international governance set-up by the modern concentrated international political power of the "fiat Money" imperialist-war capitalism strangulating 9/10 th of the regions and countries of the world by its world military bureaucracy breaking the back of american workers, people and the world workers and oppressed peoples and nations totally ! War devastating all strategic regions of the globe, genocides and mass destruction of economic blockades, permenant depression, regional devastations for monopoly of resources as better seen in Africa , M.E. or Central & SE. Asia etc... not mentioning the ecological and other health desasters and slavery-poverty conditions etc... Most socialists ( Second International ) and now tailed by Fourth International ( mostly disintegrated and non-existant as the second surviving Socialist International - backed eversince 1910 by the developing and the new imperialism though ! ) and the remenant parties of the dissolved Third International parties may be converging some-how to these neo-keynesian or even to more radical political platforms , but never abandonning the monetary world-market globalized system , however, they cannot claim to possess a revolutionary radical solution for stoping - not even coming thousand miles near to claim - defeating the modern imperialism !
As for the RIM , which has set-off as a communist mouvement seeking the genuine revolutionary communism , judging from what Bob Avakian has written so-far 1980’s-1990’s, or the new programme of RCP - USA , down to Guzman’s Peruvian revolutionary experience, and presently passing from COMPOSA , INDIA and Nepal’s unfinished revolutionary successes so far , one has to say althought it is a clear revolutionary road set to conquer revolutionary power , defenitly a correct approach , but one has to say , appart from COMPOSA which presents more of a regional solutions’ approach against the new imperialism trying to consolidate its power in India , which is the most modern communist revolutionary radical solution , but unfortunately , one can see its weakness from the out-set , which is falling short of Lenin’s call for the formation of The Third International ever since 1914 / 1915 debacle and degradation of the Second International parties ( tailing the bourgeoisie and bourgoie economists and theories shown by Kaotsky and Brenstein then) , and this calling for the new International started even before 1917 victory and/or unknown or unfinished revolutionary path set-out by revolutionaries after 1917 and radical communists before the apparent victory or apparent defeat in the working class movement in Germany in 1919 ( by assassination of Rosa Luxembourg, and its german comrades of the communist party of Germany in 1919 ! ) Lenin’s call for the formation of The Third International was indeed a decicive correct line that followed a more thorough analysis of the working class movement and the communists’ movement and the revolutionary situations plus the correct analysis of the rising warmongering monopoly financial imperialism gathering all its forces to attack the revolution and destroy all revolutionary social bases conquered by the communist movement in europe and in the world of those days, before or after WWI ! Without Comintern and convergence of communist forces all over the world into crystalizing the Lenninist revolutionary line into The Third International ( formed around March - mid 1919 ) , the out-come of much experiences gained by communists in 20 th century would not have developped up to Chinese , Korean, Cuban or Vietnamese magnificent and rich experiences and the specter of imperialism would have dominated the last century , instead of the communist -socialization starting even half socializations or state - socialization experiences would not have yeilded what it did for allowing semi-successes in The Third World developments - such as China, India, Indonesia, Iran, etc... posing big problems for the modern imperialism today ! ( or what ever resistance being build up today in other countries of the world , although passively and not actively or in a revolutionary way ! )
After having mentioned the lack of a revolutionary New International or The Fifth International , as I think it to be the correct line , What else is lacking for any communist movement and party today, is a clear and revolutionary alternative and drawing line for a complete radical break of the monetary system of the world imperialist dominated economic market ! This social-political-global modern alternative for building the Nerw Socialist Programme for a revolutionary and a practical and comprehensive political programme of transition towards communistic and much more rapidly developing toward a stable and higher society is still lacking from the political party programmes of much of the communist parties, including those of RIM parties ! • I read that letter over the weekend. I thought it was very well to the point and to the truth. Mahmud did a great job and did justice!

  • I’ve been waiting to hear what Jesse has to say about this. What can we do to stop any attacks on Iran. I am very concerned with our president and the entire administration and what his initiatives are. How can we impeace, Cheney and Bush and stop any actions in any other countries?

  • I believe that you are a feckless opertunistic traitor. Everything you say is designed to hurt the Republican president in a despicable self-serving attempt to come back to power by riding Democratic coat-tails. please - GO AWAY!
