Music Wars and conflicts

(you may remember the tune: We’ll Meet Again)

I’ll see you again
don’t know where, don’t know when
but I know they’ll kick us out
some sunny day.

Keep hoping, dear
it’s been only three years
Bush’s "freedom"s getting close
that’s what they say.

Will you please say hello
tell my pals not to go
them them this war is wrong

They’ll be happy to know
when I hear the bombs blow
I’ll be singing this song:

We’ll meet again
when the priest says "amen"
but at last we’ll meet again
yes, I know we’ll meet again
on judgement day.

  • Very sad indeed, why did you join?

Don’t believe propaganda like: serve your country - honor yourselve and let the Bush hunta do all their dirty work. I learned the average pay by the hour for a private in the army is around 8.50 USD.
Guys you are crazy to put yourself out to commit war crime or get shot. Purple heart or purple fart - their is no difference.
Watch your leader, whenever he speaks up to you, about the honor to serve your country. He is laughing about you, because his father paid money so Bush junior had never to show up.

    • I didn’t join. This is intended as a slap in the face at Bush and a warning to others NOT to participate. Read it again. Also, the writer implies that he may well NOT come home alive.

Even IF one comes home alive, his (her) mind may be shot. Villy

    • and you may remember the song "My Country tis of thee"

      1. My country went to war
      Just to please Cheney’s whore
      Hal-i-bur-ton.
      Down by the Euphrates
      Destroy antiquities
      And murder everyone you please
      Oh, don’t forget the oil.

      2. My country lied to me
But it won’t cop a plea
      We’ll stay the course.
      Bomb them until they’re free
      We’ll win their liberty
      As for our own economy
      Well to hell with that.

      3. George Bush is really bad,
      Worst that we’ve ever had
      Don’t you agree?
      Lies and incompetence,
      Fear-mong’ring, insolence,
      Compassionate conservatence
      Means the rich soak thee.

      4. Rumsfeld, Feith, Wolfowitz
      Gonzalez joins the blitz
      Need I say more?
      Cheney and Condi Rice
      Creates a team of vice
Now everyone can pay the price
      For their stupid war.

      5. Iran is next they say
‘Cause they stand in the way
      Of Caspian dreams.
Bush will say that he sees
      Mullahs who will unfreeze
      “Nukular” capabilities
      Which we must destroy.

      6. While we’re engaged in that
      Korea won’t stand pat
      Waiting their turn.
They’ll launch a nuke or two
      Aim them at Malibu
Dubya might even let them through
      Make the lib’rals burn.

      7. My country started war
Blame it on Bush v. Gore
      Who could have known?
If Al had won that case
We’d not be in this place
      Fearing for the human race
      From the seeds we’ve sown.

peace, love, end the bush administration
       justis suffram

    • I like the song! Very nice. Villy

    • The new lyrics to this old song are nothin’ but the facts, man. Brilliant!

    • Three more years to conduct mass murder on innocent people in order to steal their oil....gee we are all so proud....but you and he are the only ones who will enjoy it.
