Abu Musab al-Zarqawi is dead - again ........ Summer-like temperatures have decended upon the North American continent ...Again.... Another annual epoch has taken place as well ...... We wait for Independent Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald to make the fateful decision on whether he will chose to prosecute officials allegedly involved in the CIA Leak case ...... As each summer solstace beckons , anticipation arrives and overwhelms his vast legions of fans ...... Will this be the year the Great Man - That Great Cogitator - decides to act or,alternatively , pack his bags and head back to the Windy City of Chicago ? ......... Will it be ’06 ’or ’07 - or perhaps ’12 ? ...... Speaking of the Windy City , we hear that US Attorney Fitzgerald (that’s his REAL job) has decided to step up his crucial investigation of a 77 year old Mayor of a small Illinois village ..... If past is prologue , the old gent - if the evidence merits of course - might face indictment by his 90th birthday ........ The last major catch for Fitzy was former Ill. Governor George Ryan - a mere lad of 74 years ..... Of course when that fateful investigation was commenced , the governor was still in his baseball hat and knickers ........ Clearly a fellow caught up in a youthful indiscretion...
