Parties Governments USA

Dear Democrats of America- I have this simple question- why are these Dems, supposedly the most progressive Representatives in DC, playing along with the charade.

John Conyers, the ’hero’ of the stolen election movement, smiling big while George signs the Voting Rights Act- why isn’t Conyers raising hell about the dirty tricks and stolen election? Why is he pretending that George cares about voting rights?

Barbara Boxer campaigning for Lieberman. Lieberman is "Bush’s favorite Democrat", a total war whore, so why is "the most progressive Democrat" Boxer supporting him? Why isn’t she campaigning for an anti-war Dem? Why doesn’t stopping the needless killing matter to anyone in DC? Another day, another 2 soldiers, another 100 Iraqis, thousands of lives shattered, and nobody in DC sees any reason to stop it...... it’s so sad.

Yes America, it is that bad - The Democrats are just as phony as the Republicans. The whole partisan battle in DC is nothing but a charade.

  • There might be two parties but there is only one policy.

Americans actually think there are differences in the approaches to answers betweens the Dems and the Repubs. They do not know and will never tolerate anything approaching "a true opposition" to the chest-beating mantras — "We are the best", "We make a better bomb then you", "We are superior", etc.

Being American means you look at the paper thin differences between Dems and Repubs and you magnify it into a mountain. Point to it repeatedly and say how great a nation America because of the great differneces until your mind is numb; and then some.

This is fed into your conciousness until your brain is fried.

  • And this surprises anyone?! There are NOT two parties in the US. There are only "people" with different opinions on how best (and how fast) to F#@k over the American people, and the rest of the world too.The ONLY hope we have is to flush congress throughly this November (with the exception of Ron Paul, Tom Tancredo and Cynthia McKinney).

Anyone who really believes that there are political choices in this country is hopelessly disingenuous.

  • I left the Democratic Party and joined the Green Party after the Dem’s weak response to a second obviously stolen election in 2004.
The two major parties seem to have a deal. The deal seems to be that each can steal votes from the third parties. I suspect that the Republicans wink and nod when the Democrats steal votes from the Libertarians, and that the Democrats are a-okay with the Republicans stealing votes from the Greens. I beleive that they work in tacit agreement to prevent the rise of any third parties.
