The presentation of the book “Superpower Principles” published by Common Courage Press will be the kickoff next October 3 of activities commemorating the 8th anniversary of the arrest of the Cuban Five and 30 years of the bombing of a Cuban airliner.

According to the organizers, several presentations of the book by Salim Lamrani, researcher from Denis-Diderot University in Paris, will take place from October 3rd to 11th .

The book is a compilation of essays written by Howard Zinn, Noam Chomsky, Leonard Weinglass, James Petras, Saul Landau, Michael Parenti and others that reveal the lies told by the Bush administration to the people of the US about the so-called War on Terrorism and with relation to Cuba.

Superpower Principles is a unique book that addresses the case of the Cuban Five, a disquieting history censured by the US media.

On October 3 thru 5, there will be presentations in New York City, while on October 6, the book will be launched at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge and the following day in Washington D.C.

The program includes final presentations from October 7 thru 11 in California, in Oakland, Rohnert Park, Hayward, Berkeley and a last one at Stanford University in Palo Alto.(Prensa Latina)
