ARMIES UNDER FIREExplosions crumble up the streetsthe acrid air full of debrisOrphaned children wail and crywhile politicians sell the lie.In our failing, spelling doomour generals don’t speak of gloominstead, the claim,"Let’s take a look...and strategize, fight by the book"They stand up while we stand down(we use the slogan of the clown)but as we gaze with burning eyesboth armies fall, all reason dies. Now the public anger growswhile in the "Garden of the Rose"George Bush the liar, Tony Snowsay "We must stay, we cannot go"Smokey Baghdad, tell us truewhere are our armies marching to?will profiteers who sent you go...Up above....or down below?
