WELCOME TO ARMAGEDDON!..The World’s Greatest Threatss

Many of these stories, which are of vital concern to every soul on earth, are ignored, and not covered by the media.

In no order, the most severe threats to the world and the existence of all.

1. Depleted Uranium. Spread by Allied forces in Kosovo, and then in the Gulf War and now in Iraq,through tank shells, this deadly dust-embedded substance has caused thousands of still and deformed births, as well as thousands of cases of Leukemia in the general population and in troops returning home. For some reason the MSM has not interest in this important story!

2. A desperate need for the cleanup, worldwide, of hundreds of "dirty" nuclear waste dump sites in Russia, East Europe, and the U.S. When Bush and Kerry BOTH promised they’d make this job priority #1. Ha! When did you last hear a discussion about it?

3. Global Warming. Often referred to by Right wingers as "Junk Science" By now everyone knows the threat, and how...if we don’t act soon,VERY soon, we’ll be wiped out slowly but surely by Mother Nature. I think the main reason most governments don’t tackle this major problem head on with every means at their disposal, is that most politicians are already quite advanced in years, and figure that the next generation (if there is one) should deal with it.

4. AIDS Right now approximately 85,000,000 cases worldwide and no real solution in sight. Too tough for politicians to even contemplate.

5. The giant Ozone hole over the Antarctic, constantly expanding, is now millions of square miles in size! Gamma rays coming through will cause a massive increase in skin cancers and other diseases. Nothing much can be done about it now. Too late (if there ever was a chance)

6. Nuclear proliferation and worldwide threats. The key baddies here are North Korea (who knows?), Iran (no doubt planning something in the future), Israel (they may use a nuke against Iran if push comes to shove), and the good old US of A! (God only knows what plans Bush and his minions have in store!) There appears to be only one possible solution; diplomacy. And frankly, that ain’t workin’!

7. Financial Catastrophe. If China were to call in it’s notes on the U.S., the Dow would collapse like a house of cards. That probably won’t happen, but other countries could spell our doom as well; notably Iran (if we attack them)and Russia (who plan to switch investments to Euros). Few people are aware just how close the markets are to going under. Money has no real value anymore!

8. A giant asteroid or meteor could strike Earth at any time. We’ve had some near misses (a few million miles), but so far..so good!

9. Plague. There is a genuine threat from a host of biological agents, many man made. A rogue state could create a disaster with a dirty bomb, or a new virus, such as Ebola, could be spread naturally, and the world’s population could be seriously decreased. Maybe that would be a "good thing"!

10. Perhaps the greatest current threat to the stability of the planet is our own president Bush and his host of slimey cohorts,especially the Neocons and the fatcat corporatists behind the scenes. They’re not content just to tweak our rights in this country, nor are they content to approve of nefarious actions against it’s own citizens, but they approve of rendering "suspect terrorists" to foreign lands for torture and the expansion of Empire by the United States to all corners of the globe, for military and political dominance! Currently, they’re failing to some degree, but don’t count them out. They’re just getting their second legs.

So sit back, take a deep breath, whistle "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" and hope for the best. Who knows...maybe like our greedy and irresponsible politicians YOU may die before the end comes!
