With Mr Jacques Chirac,

President of the Republic,

Large Master of the national Order of the Legion of Honor

Mr. President of the Republic,

France, definitely, seems to have lost some reference marks and there would be, in our opinion, urgency which you recall to our compatriots fundamental principles of the Republic.

An organizer of television, Mr. Pascal Sevran, being believed obviously above our laws, has just affirmed publicly and cynically not only its racism, but also its taste for the eugenism. The unworthy remarks that it held show “the responsible blacks”, by one to be supposed bestiality which would characterize them, of the misfortune of Africa. By this amalgam, since it speaks “about the blacks”, Mr. Sevran shows thus not only the sub-Saharan Africans but also part of overseas. This is why the Dom collective has just deposited felt sorry for and was immediately addressed to Mr. Patrick de Carolis so that the organizer eugenist and négrophobe are interdict of antenna.

Unfortunately, it is not a question of a “skid”. These intolerable declarations - and which makes shame in France - are not isolated. They fall under a context which has done nothing but worsen for very exactly a year. We thus saw Mr. Alain Finkielkraut, who has of a platform in Polytechnique and another in France Culture, expressing his racist catechism quietly; we saw Mr. George Frêche taking again the same refrain without for being excluded as much (for the moment) from its party. We also saw, unfortunately, the consequences as of the these professions of faith since there were violences and died recently of man on a stage. And the things can only worsen if you personally do not take care to put a term at it. But this release of the racist word is not only ascribable to the preachers of hatred infiltrated in the Establishment nor with the hooligans. At reading the press, nobody any more would question today that there is well a “black community” in France, therefore a “black question”. Nature detesting the vacuum, an organization was created to justify this communautarism médiatiquement and, in fact, to cause, in return, of the attacks négrophobes without precedent since from now on released from any reserve. Here sometimes a year, emerged mysteriously from nothing a curious entity - the Notch (council representative of black associations) - which claims to be expressed in the name of the “blacks” of France. Hardly created (and in spite of the made indignant of all French overseas or originating denunciations overseas alive in Metropolis) this bunch, which represents in fact only one handle of small associations of Africans or of Franco-African the word mobilized at once and occupied media space - in particular within the framework of the public utility of the radio and television - at a point such as it is allowed to think that the strategy of communication of the Notch is learnedly orchestrated. You cannot be unaware of it since we had the unpleasant one surprised to see you, over a half page of Release, last on January 30, appear (very involuntarily undoubtedly) at the sides of the president of this association, Mr. Patrick Lozès, who claims concept of race openly (see the interview of its spokesman, Mr. George Tin in Le Monde of November 29, 2005). One can wonder about the appropriateness of the presence of the Notch to a reception aiming at paying homage to the memory of the slaves while much Ultramarins however active and qualified in these fields had not had the honor to be invited.

In the mobility of the Notch another bunch, the Ka tribe appeared. Whereas the Collective Dom, the first, had alerted the authorities against all these racist drifts, we observe that it was necessary to await the provocation of the street of the Rose trees for the Ka tribe is finally dissolved in the Council of Ministers. We also observe that to this occasion a true platform was offered by all the media to Mr. Capochichi, alias Kémi Seba, to propagate its doctrines of racial hatred. Today still, Mr. Kémi Seba announces on Internet that it will put fire at Sarcelles (where an important community Jew at the sides of an important West-Indian community saw) while being presented at the elections. Obviously, when the media accredit the idea that there would be “blacks” in France and give a platform to such “spokesman” there should not be astonished that the racist speech is released against these “blacks” which invite to burn the dictionaries and to be caught of them with the “white” famous persons in charge for racism and culprits of all the colonial and slave crimes.

I dare to now to say you, Mr. President, that Ultramarins are tired this contempt and of these amalgams. They are tired sensitive to the cold reactions of the authorities when the true questions of history are put (thus the quasi-official glorification of Napoleon until I put at it, by my only feather, a point of organ one year ago); they are disappointed to see that the legitimate requests making it possible to pay homage to the descendants of slaves prestigious, federator and emblematic, such as the Dumas general, finish systematically with the basket when one addresses to a minister, with a Prime Minister, even with the President. They are anxious to note that when it is a question of introducing a “ethno-racial” criterion into the public statistics, the government, instead of pointing out our principles systematically, relies on alleged experts.

This is why we ask you to address to the Nation a clear message indicating that in your spirit, it is not question of “blacks” and “white”, but only of French, in the tradition of the admirable law of October 16, 1791 which carries that there is not, in our country, of distinction of color between citizens. It is with you, now, and with you only, Mr. President of the Republic, to point out all that and to as say strong voice as those which forgot our fundamental and which scorn our laws must be sanctioned.

We also ask you to support near Mr. de Carolis our request aiming at prohibiting antenna Mr. Pascal Sevran who is not obviously worthy to appear among the organizers of the public utility.

Lastly, we urge to you to address this very day to Mr. the Large Chancellor a request aiming at suspending Mr. Pascal Sevran of the national Order of the Legion of Honor.

It seems to us indeed very improper to see a juggler without merit, a declared racist, a eugenist content with him, plastronner on the plates of television while proudly raising the emblem of an order of which you are the large Master and who was not decreed, even on a purely posthumous basis, with a Dumas general.

Persuaded that you will share our point of view and will act consequently we remain sincerely yours
