Wars and conflicts Parties USA Daveparts

By David Glenn Cox

Presenting neither the vision we would need to see of the world as it is nor protecting us from the cold rain. It exists as a relic, a partial reality but a total falsity. Invisible to the naked eye but jagged enough to bloody those who attempt to prove the point.

The result’s are in the elections over! All hail President Hillary! The corporate vote is in and the rich and powerful have spoken. In a decisive victory corporate America has voted to continue the policies of George W. Bush. Deindustrializing, downsizing with more war and exploitation for everyone.

Mrs. Clinton must now attend the Democratic American Idol contest next summer and then after the electoral fun run in November Mrs. Clinton can assume America’s highest office that of Presidential Corporate spokesperson.

In an interview for the new book “The Evangelical President,” White House Chief of Staff Josh Bolten asserts Bush has “been urging candidates: ‘Don’t get yourself too locked in where you stand right now. If you end up sitting where I sit, things could change dramatically.’ ”

Bush wants enough continuity in his Iraq policy that “even a Democratic president would be in a position to sustain a legitimate presence there.”

“Especially if it’s a Democrat,” the chief of staff said from his West Wing office. “He wants to create the conditions where a Democrat not only will have the leeway, but the obligation to see it out.” To that end, the president has been sending advice, mostly through aides, aimed at preventing an abrupt withdrawal from Iraq in the event of a Democratic victory in November 2008.

“It’s different being a candidate and being the president,” Bush said in an Oval Office interview. “No matter who the president is, no matter what party, when they sit here in the Oval Office and seriously consider the effect of a vacuum being created in the Middle East, particularly one trying to be created by al Qaeda, they will then begin to understand the need to continue to support the young democracy.”

Quite odd indeed, The party of the President runs away from him while the opposition party runs toward him. It would appear to make no sense at all unless of course if it was all the same party. The old good cop bad cop routine, I’m your friend elect me and I’ll protect you from the bad cop. “Impeachment is off the table” and in regards to Iran all options are on the table. Pelosi, Hillary, Obama and George Herbert Hoover Bush all quite interchangeable.

Like Bush speaking to the NAACP Hillary speaks to union members with promises of how things will be different under her rule. But no talk of Patriot acts, spying, torture or wiretaps. Buying into the big lie that we must continue to fight the war on terror and now who was it that thought that up in the first place?

But doesn’t the opposition party want to bring our troops home? The short answer is, No! They want to withdraw but stay close enough to protect the oil excuse me, I mean the Iraqi’s. The same Bush Chenny vision to protect and control the oil. But even more absurdly pursued with the idea that you can be an autocratic dictator from arms length

The window is broken it neither serves us nor protects us. Any of us who’ve played ball in the yard know that great care must be taken not to break the window but once the window is broken it becomes immediately worthless. Its value is void but there will be hell to pay for it’s former worth.

We share with our Iraqi brethren the reality that we are no longer a free people. We are spied on and when we protest we are arrested en mass. When we ask our leaders questions we are dragged from the hall and arrested or tasered while our leaders stand at the podium and tell the crowd to remain calm.

In a monument to the enormous absurdity of the American political situation, school officials in Jena Louisiana cut down the tree in the high school courtyard. As if it was tree that was the problem not the partisan leadership that puts children on one side on trial for attempted murder while patting the other side on the head with the comment, run along. This is the hell we must pay for broken political windows.

Windows of corrupted vision, as if it was the trees fault not the bigotry and racism and all we need to do is cut down that offending tree. Or cut down the offending Iraqi’s or Afghani’s or Haitians or Americans if need be. But our free and fair elections are inviolate as the current President begins the transition process before the first primary vote is cast.

It all makes perfect sense provided your not paying attention, the dollar at record lows gasoline and wheat at record highs. The Fed’s rate cut has the stock market back up to record highs but what do those highs mean when improved earnings are paid out in depreciated dollars? If Wal-Mart and Costco have same store sales from a year ago yet the dollar has lost 15% in value are they the same?

Through frosted glass we see the breakage and we feel the cold wind as it blows through the shards. The wind howls as it tries to warn us, This land ain’t your land no more. Land of the boardroom home of the slave but take heart for this message it offers a new vision of freedom. You now look through the window from the other side of the glass. If that government owes you nothing and promises you nothing to what do you owe to it? If it seeks only to take from you the things once promised and guaranteed then the contract is void between us. Patriotism is love of country blind patriotism is the love of its government. The world is turning upside down we are through the looking glass but as it is with and alcoholic we must hit bottom first.

We must rub our eyes and look with a new vision that all we the people have are each other. Race, color and religion are tools used to divide us and they have worked well.
We must take the advice of George Washington, “We must all hang together or we will all hang separately.”

Globalism takes from us national sovereignty and wealth and leaves behind the illusion of democratic principles. A peasant class of the unessential to serve at their masters call. With foreign ownership, a ruling class emerges that values America only as a cash cow and values Americans regardless of race creed or color only as peasants to work the fields. Winston Churchill speaking of the dangers of Nazi rule warned and it is like wise applicable to globalism. “ If we fail, then the whole world, including the United States, including all that we have known and cared for, will sink into the abyss of a new Dark Age made more sinister, and perhaps more protracted, by the lights of perverted science.”
