Bush Yes, Galloway No. Canada bars Respect MP from entry

Respect MP, George Galloway has been refused entry to Canada to address the Peace Movement. According to the Government of Canada, he was barred for reasons of ’National Security’. The barring of George Galloway comes just days after ex US President George Bush spoke in Calgary, despite protests, including lawyers who argued Canada’s own law demands that ’credible’ war crimes suspects such as Bush, be banned. Condoleeza Rice, also on the most wanted list of unindicted US war criminals is scheduled to visit Calgary on May 13.
