This is a pivotal moment in the campaign to lift the siege of
Gaza and for justice for Palestine.

The scale of the global outrage, following Israel’s attack on the
Gaza aid flotilla, is unprecedented. Governments are under
intense public pressure to turn their words into action against
the country which violates more international laws than any
other.

Our demonstration in London is one of many taking place around
the world.

We will be demonstrating to send a clear message to David Cameron
and Nick Clegg that the indulgence of Israel’s crimes against
humanity must stop.

We will be demonstrating in memory of the nine humanitarian
activists on the flotilla killed by Israel, and to express our
determination to ensure that their lives were not lost in vain.

In the words of Sarah Colborne, a survivor from the flotilla and
campaigns director for the Palestine Solidarity Campaign:

"We can’t sit by and watch Israel violate international law every
day. We want the British government to take action to ensure
there are no future attacks on humanitarian aid convoys, to
ensure a search is carried out for those that remain missing and
that those people who have been detained illegally are released
and, most importantly, to end the siege of Gaza."

Please join the demonstration tomorrow, if you can, and encourage
everyone you know to be there too. We can make a difference.

MARCH ROUTE

The demonstration assembles 1.30pm in Whitehall opposite Downing
Street. The march will begin at 2.30pm and go up to Trafalgar
Square, up Haymarket, down Piccadilly, round the Hyde Park Corner
roundabout, down Kensington Gore, and end outside the Israeli
Embassy. A route map will be available on the Stop the War
website shortly.
