15 countries coordinate for 27th of September International Antiwar Day-No occupation in Iraq and Palestine

Dear friends

we just came back from Genoa where we had the meeting of Preparatory Assembly for ESF.

We had the opportunity there to exchange ideas for action and coordination in a meeting of antiwar initiatives. Also present were iraqui delegates who support the idea of resistance to the US appointed Council. They informed us that 1 million signatures were collected to support the creation of a Council of Iraqui Delegates confronting thas the occupational council. They asked for international solidarity and joined action with Watch Centre that you have already organised.

On 27th of September the following 15 countries participate in international day of action to end occupation of Iraq demanding that US and UK armies have to go: USA, UK, Palestine,Greece, France, Germany, Poland, Turkey,Spain, Macedonia, Cyprus, Portugal, Austria, Belgium, Danemark.

On 26th of October in Cairo a lot of delegates from arab and also all over the world is expected to participate in the 2nd Conference against american aggression against Iraq.

Missions from UK trade unions will visit Iraq in September and from other countries to be planned soon.

During the ESF process we decided to organise Antiwar Seminar-:a.Coordination of Actions b. Iraq, occupation and resistance c.Palestine.

It is a good idea to give a big space for activists to coordinate and to analyse.
