Petition for the liberation of Andrey Pshenichnikov from Egyptian prison

Please read, sign and help others sign the petition for the liberation of Andrey Pshenichnikov, Palestine solidarity activist condemned in Egypt to two years imprisonment.

We, friends of Andrey in Brazil and in France have not had any news from here since last April.

2) Editorial (in Arabic) in "Tasamuh" ( = "Tolérance"), periodical of Ramallah center for human rights studies, N° 29, juin 2012 : the section concerning Andrey begins with the last paragraphe of page N° 5 and runs to the end of page N° 6. The article emphesises Andrey’s original step and regrets lack of hospitality of the Palestinian authority (PA). Indeed, Andrey moved to Dheishe regugee camp, south of Bethlehem, on the spring of 2012, hoping to live among Palestinians, to renounce to his Israeli nationality and to obtain the Palestinian nationality. In order to pay his rent and make his living, he worked as waitor, then as construction worker in Bethlehem. Two months later, the PA handed him to the Israelis (in fact, Palestinians cannot protect their own nationals, how would they then give refuge to an Israeli claimed by the occupier ?).
