Sad closure of non-censoring, Centre-Left , Australian web magazine New Matilda

Peace is the only way but silence kills and silence is complicity. Mainstream politician, academic and media lying subverts rational risk management for societal safety and in the case of US lackey Australia has led to its involvement in all post-1950 US Asian Wars (Asian deaths from violence or from violently-imposed deprivation total about 40 million, with half being children) (see Gideon Polya, “Body Count. This is a huge loss to an Australia that, like other US-dominated Western democracies, has been remorselessly transformed into a Murdochracy, Lobbyocracy and Corporatocracy in which Big Money purchases people, politicians, parties, policies, public perception of reality and political power.
New Matilda will be sorely missed. New Matilda was an excellent web magazine in a neoliberal-dominated, look-the-other-way, Neocon American and Zionist Imperialist (NAZI)-subverted, human rights-abusing, US lackey Lib-Lab-ruled country with substantially foreign-owned (most notably Murdoch-owned) Mainstream media committed to censorship, lying by omission and lying by commission.

As a widely-published 5-decade career scientist who has tried to provide science-informed advice to fellow Australians, I viewed New Matilda as remarkable (together with the socialist Green Left Weekly) for not censoring such informed comments that are otherwise censored by Mainstream media in Australia.
