How long will we stay quiet?

by Just Wondering - Open-Publishing - Saturday 14 June 2014

Everyone by now knows that the politicians lie and the media misinform. But nobody seem to care. The World is being pushed to the brink of a global conflict by the same people who brought us disintegration of Yugoslavia, destruction of Afghanistan (like it needed to be more destroyed), total collapse and mayhem which is now Iraq and total obliteration of Libya.

Now, since causing another state to be a failed state (Syria) is not moving to hell fast enough, we got another created mayhem, Ukraine. This time however it is much more dangerous. First of all judging by the previous results of western meddling, the country is on the fast track to oblivion. But to make it worse and potentially extremely dangerous, it is not somewhere else, but smack between Europe and Russia. Arrogant and evil new government there is persuading it’s population by bombs and bullets to obey with western help and cheering, aggravating Russia, which has no space to back off to. If you were trying to start a global war, you could not find a better place to begin. And the world population sits quietly. There are no mass demonstrations, no uproar. Are we no longer caring? Are we all tired of living that we do not care any more?

Like we did not have enough problems already with destruction of environment, collapsing economy and expanding debt bubble. Do we all think as our leaders that the war will solve all our problems? Yes the war would solve some problems, it would solve all problems for the ones un-fortunate to die, it would make all weapons manufacturers rich with new spoils and it would make the international bankers salivate at the sight of the new loans given to all the countries involved. But it will do nothing but increase misery for you, for me and all the rest of us. So what is going on? Do we not care? Don’t we want our children to live and play any more? Do we like looking at images of half dead bloodied women lying on the side-walk screaming for their children? Or if we are going to do something to stop this madness, then when? How many dead is enough to make us care?
