Active Shooter programs run amok

If I’m doing my math right - less than one tenth of one percent of US citizens were killed by guns in 2010. Yes that’s still too many but it’s a statistical wash. And yet the USDA (the agriculture department of the US government) just sent me an email telling of their “Active Shooter” manditory program for it’s employees. A cursory search of other Active Shooter programs indicates that schools, FEMA, and of course the FBI and “Homeland Security” (Deutsche Vaterlandspartei -The Fatherland - precursor to Nazi Germany) have similar programs.

The installation of such programs leads to fear-based self-censorship within schools, organizations, companies and communities. And since when do farmers require hightened security awareness?

This is a travisty and it must be challenged. I am a licensed Security Guard and I know bullshit when I see it.
