Non Je Ne Suis Pas Charlie

Do I stand with Charlie? No, I do not and I’ll tell you why.

But first, let me clarify something.

I do believe in free speech; probably more than you the reader.

I also believe in freedom of the press; again, probably more than you the reader.

However, unlike some others in the media, I recognise that today we’re involved in a war against people who will shoot you dead in the street, without batting an eye. Are you prepared to do that? I am. These Muslim extremists will blow you up and you can take your free speech with you to the grave if you like, but I prefer to operate from a position of strength.

We are in need of a revolution.

We must demand that our government ceases its Liberal acceptance and in some quarters outright encouragement of what is actually a declared war against our Christian beliefs by a growing group of religious zealots; really nutcase thugs that seek to destroy us and without immediate action they may very well succeed.

So why don’t I stand with Charlie?

Because I do not stand with people who believe that free speech and freedom of the press trumps everything; even common sense. There comes a point when "just because we can..." should be revisited. I believe we’re at that point in history.

Today, we must demand that these Muslim extremists; these religious zealots and nutcase thugs are removed from our society and (I prefer) delivered to GITMO or another place, away from our peaceful communities by our elected government and if they refuse, then, we must replacement those men and women with people who will act... because the alternative is that we must take up arms against these zealots and I am afraid that the majority among us are simply not prepared to protect their values as these religious zealots are clearly willing to do.
