ISIS: Discerning the Propaganda

There has not been a legitimate Caliph (Islamic civil leader), or Caliphate (a FORM of government), in 500 years. Why is the media now using these terms?

When I see a beheading (not with a scimitar but rather with a US manufactured steak knife), wherein the perpetrators perfectly speak the Queen’s English, there is no doubt in my mind about who is really at work. Clearly, IT IS NOT the faithful of Islam.

Hence the term "Islamic State" (applied, by the media, to this rogue band of English speaking, black garbed, violent assholes), in and of itself, is a grotesque misnomer. A legitimate “State” is a viable political collective and NOT a mobocracy consisting primarily of ruthless, murderous thugs wielding abandoned US weaponry.

I think it’s safe to assume that the notion of an Islamic State comes from the US in the form of the quack in the 1930’s who started the “Nation of Islam” by claiming to be the reincarnation of Jesus Christ. See? Nation . . . State. Again, no legitimate claim for an Islamic State has EVER been made. A FORM of government, and it’s civil leader, does not a STATE make.

To put this media verbal abuse into perspective it would be like calling a group of evangelical fundamentalists in Oklahoma the "Christian State." It really just doesn’t make sense. I suspect that the term (Islamic State) is a creation of US Psy-Ops and a variant of the Nation of Islam.

The Rolex wielding man in black, who is proclaimed by the Western media to be "the first caliph in generations" and "commander of all Muslims," is pure fiction and his bogeyman status is nothing more than propaganda. A caliph would be the approximate equivalent of a pope and a pope is chosen rather than self appointed. I also take issue with "commander of all Muslims" as that would be the equivalent of calling Pope Francis the "General of all Christians." Again this is the language of propaganda and only designed to twist off in the minds of the simple.
