Don’t miss Peace Not War’s 3rd Birthday Party on Sunday September 11 (5-12pm) at Cargo Club in Shoreditch.

In the current atmosphere of fear, division and Islamaphobia, Peace Not War aims to unite via the dancefloor.

UK hiphop is a cross-cultural force that represents the oppressed and calls for peace, justice and solidarity. With acts as diverse as Asian Dub Foundation Soundsystem, The Extremists, Mecca2Medina and DJ Rubbish, the night will celebrate the coming-of-age of this international project.

Short Listings release: 11th September 2005

Since the events of 7th July 2005 it has become increasingly more apparent how important it is to embrace the cultural diversity of London, and the UK as a whole. The Peace movement has become more important than ever and to represent this and the unity of London, Peace Not War is proud to present Peace Not Wars’ 3rd Birthday Celebration at Cargo.

Headlining are Asian Dub Foundation Sound System, Fun-da-mental, The Extremists and Mecca2Medina. Opening events will be DJ Rubbish so be sure to arrive early to check this legendary DJ MC in collaboration with The Rub and D-Form. • Blair already got his position with the American Carlyle group. He will become an Manager in the worlds most bogus holding! Yeah, he is a real Great Britain Imperialist.
Imprisonment of Blair would restore trust!

  • You’re celebrating 9-11? Is this part of a series? Do you also have a memorial party on the anniversary of Kristalnacht and a Pearl Harbor party on December 7? Do you have a big Seige of Sarajevo bash complete with demonstrations of tree-girdling and other winter-survival skills?

"Thousands of lives were snuffed out on a bright, sunny morning, dude—let’s party!!!"

    You’re sick.

    • Come on regret what your wonderful country has done to more then 50 million people in various kind of unjust wars after 1945. 50 million people have been murdered by your wonderful christian troops.

People like you just don’t get it. What make you think, if your fascists government decide to use nuclear weapons as they have done in Hiroshima/Nagasaki, that it will not backlash to you and your christian weirdos?

The world will come together soon and fight down the American terrorists!

    • Since you’re a proud enemy of liberty, please strap on a bomb-belt and blast off to Allah and the 72 virgins. You won’t be missed.

Side note—when will a pop band have the guts to name itself "Allah and the 72 Virgins"? Oh yeah, it’s easier to cheaply pose as "fighting the power" by challenging an American president, knowing very well that no one will respond to such hystrionics by stabbing a death-threat note through your chest. (Remember what happened to Mr. Van Gogh in Amsterdam, or did you ignore that, too?).

The enlightened Left would never dare to challenge jihadists who outlawed music under the Taleban in Afghanistan. The rave you plan to attend would get you stoned—literally—under the previous Afghan regime.
