Bush Cruise Missiles Murder Pakistani Civilians

By Peter Fredson

January 14, 2006

Emperor George I, by grace of the Supreme God of the Universe, and the Republican Senate, murdered at least 17 to 35 civilians today, in Pakistan, by launching multiple cruise missiles, which destroyed their homes and lives. By Bush terms, so few deaths are negligible, hardly worth mentioning.

He would be willing to murder many more times that number to achieve his objective in combating “terrorism” (which he foments continually) anywhere in the world.

The cruise missiles were launched from one or more Drone Planes, violating international airspace in arrogant assumption that Bush can strike anyone in the world, or space, whenever he feels like it and no one will dare to hold him to any accounting. Bush can ignore all international conventions, all diplomacy. After all, he now has the very best Ambassador money can buy at the United Nations, poised to destroy it at a moment’s notice.

“The CIA-operated Predator drone aircraft carried out the missile strike in the Bajur tribal region of northwestern Pakistan.”

“Doctors told AP that at least 17 people died in the attack, but residents of Damadola, a Pashtun tribal hamlet on a hillside about seven kilometers (four miles) from the Afghan border, said more than 30 had died.”

“An AP reporter who visited the scene in Damadola village about 12 hours after the attack saw three destroyed houses, hundreds of yards apart. Villagers had buried at least 15 people, including women and children, and were digging for more bodies in the rubble.”

So said the news report.

Hundreds of yards apart, precision bombing?
The sad news for Bush, is not that innocent people were killed because this is a daily occurrence for our emperor, but that the intended target was absent. The news did not report that Bush said “OOPS” but it is more likely that he feels anger that his vicious attacks did not kill enough people. But we are fairly sure that Karl Rove will comfort the emperor, and offer sage dirty tricks to take away the sting of not killing the proper people. And he will try it again and again. He will “stay the crooked course.”

Bush cannot be criticized for these murders because he has immunized himself by Executive Orders absolving himself from any judicial action because he is the War President. Second, he as a Messiah sent by his God is fully authorized to overlook all legislation, all congressional bodies, and take action to fight terrorism in the entire world.

Also, if he declares that someone is EVIL, Bush is authorized to use all force, in the name of his God, to eradicate evil. That, after all is his primary mission in this vale of tears, to prepare us for the next better world with pie in the sky and flitting around the universe on silvery wings.

All that, of course, comes after looting the treasuries of the world for his corporate cronies and fundamentalist supporters. It doesn’t seem to make much sense, if the world is going to be destroyed, but not much about the Bush administration makes sense. Perhaps the neocons are simply exploiting religious beliefs for political purposes, but, no, that would be wrong.

Man-made law, constitutions, are just pieces of paper to be ignored whenever Bush thinks it is convenient for his corporate purposes. They are simply
window dressing when he prates about democracy, liberty and other good stuff for the suckers that still believe he is a competent executive.

Besides he can still wave multiple flags and hold up crosses and have many photo-ops patting some little black child on the head or offering some suffering person, who has lost home and family, a sandwich. That really stirs the voting emotions of fundamentalists, who will forgive any of Bush stupidities in return for a good religious slogan or code word.

Or he can have some soldier who has just shot an Iraqi mother in the head; offer her orphan child a delicious chocolate bar to win hearts and minds of those stupid people.

Or he can give Karl Rove more billions of dollars to help bulldoze the homes of poor people in New Orleans so that rich people can get on with their lives and reconstruct their mansions and have nice driveways leading up to their pillared porches like good ole Southern “massas.”

Besides, law is no problem now that he will have the majority of the Supreme Court as loyal sycophants, and Alito’s theory of unitary executive will give unlimited unrestrained imperial power to Bush, whose whim will become the law of the land. Whatever Bush wants he will get.

If Bush feels that someone in the world has bad intentions he is fully authorized to send CIA agents to assassinate him, destabilize regimes, destroy the economy of any country, kidnap anyone anywhere in the world and send him to a secret jail where he can be tortured and abused, while little Condi Rice lies her little mouth off denying anything ever occurs.

Emperor George I cannot be held responsible for bad intelligence and missing his target in Pakistan. After all his CIA agents told him that an Al-Qaeda official was in the vicinity, and that should be enough to satisfy any judicial inquiry. The fact that people were murdered has no bearing on Imperial behavior and preemptive prerogatives.

The common ordinary people murdered must be seen as simply Muslim trash to be eliminated by Bush’s Christian Missiles, mere collaterals, incidentals in Bush’s grand crusade to become El Supremo. And, who is going to hold George I to account?

If courts refuse to try him for war crimes, and Republicans think more of their party than their country, then the next 3 years will be agonizing for ordinary Americans. He can commit any stupidity, any atrocity, and no one will be able to stop him.

As long as his loyal fundamentalist Christians support him, and there is little indication of any revolt in their ranks this month (because Harriet Miers is old news,) he will continue his depredations, piracy, outrageous behavior and disrespect for our Constitution.
