Well, it doesn’t surprise me. In fact, I’ve been thinking of pulling my bank account anyway for several years due to this real threat. One poster is right. The Feds can do whatever they pretty well please and they are able to deny we citizens access to our safe deposit boxes and cash for any pretext they choose.
I have been thinking of alternatives to using banks or credit unions. Mason jars; a shovel from the hardware store and a moonless night in my backyard???
