That has got to be the stupidest thing I’ve ever read. H5N1 is a real virus, it’s really serious. The latest mutation of H5N1 is particularly deadly for people and birds, and if you get it, there’s about a 60% chance that you’re going to die. Unlike the "regular" versions of the flu which only infect your digestive systems, this little nasty bugger can infect your kidneys and liver, as well as your brain.
Just for the record... my uncle IS a viralogist who is activly working on combating this problem before it becomes a plague of epic proportions.
