While I realize those in our armed forces pledge to uphold the constitution, I am unclear how their illegal use in occupations to seize and control mideast oil translates into promoting "free speech, dissenting opinions, and questioning authority". Please explain. Also if exercises are being carried out to "better understand the distribution of marine animals ...to protect them" perhaps an exercise to "better understand the distribution of innocent Iraqi non-combatant women and children" might be advisable so that another million or so aren’t needlessly slaughtered.
