Of course they don’t care. They might be forced to admit that they are still a bunch of gun-toting rednecks who think that violence is the only way to solve their problems, if they started asking questions that might rock their self-image of being the perfect Christian nation, with pearly-white perfect teeth, 2.4 children, three cars in the garage, and a white picket fence with roses around their property.
