Great little essay. My only comment that kids want to have fun, and that is what the bigwigs exploit. Woodstock was done for fun (I think) at the time it had nothing to prove. Also, not only were the performances handmade but so were many of the instruments. I clicked on the youtube link and sony have removed the video and left a legal warning.
