The Impossible Dream Erdogan

11 August 2010, 11:32

Sir ,

In order to be a political "analyst" you’ve got to know stg. about the subject you are supposed to analyze in the first place.

"....Republican People’s Party-Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi) for the general election to be held in 2010 with the express objective of dismounting from power Erdogan’s government, for having refused to be accomplices and the U.S. war against Saddam’s secular regime in Iran for the most Islamist AKP may resist undoubtedly waging war against a country that calls itself itself ’Islamic Republic’".

Funny,’cause I live in Turkey and as far as I and the rest of the country can remember, it was exactly "islamist" Erdogan’s party which had brought a resolution to general assembly in order to help and be a complice and a helpng hand for Amercan atrocities and Iraqi war just before the invasion. Surprise, surprise whole of the opposition parties were against it and when a handful from erdoagan’a party joined to the "no" sayers, the resolution could’nt pass, and Turkey could’nt conquer Iraq side by side with its beloved american allies.

I repeat so you get things right:

İslamist AKP and its leader Erdogan were in for "war".

Opposition was against it.

And just by pure lack and a few votes , we missed the" wonderful" opportunity to wage war against Iraq and help Americans to increase the number of atrocities.

Please inform yourself correctly (preferably not only by islamists and islamist friendly media, they have well known little respect for any truth or facts) ) ( unless you are not a turkish islamist posing as a foreign political analyst) about recent history before making a political analyses.

Best Luck anyway
