She rescued her mother Marita in 1976, when CIA-agent Frank Sturgis planned to kill both of them. Unfortunately, Marita Lorenz ended her life in poor health, eating junk food and donuts in a humble New York apartment, forsaken by family and friends, similar to the experiences of Lee Harvey Oswald, who had also worked for the agency as a spy, and who was fully aware of the plans to murder JFK, but did not succeed in giving the right signals to blow up the organized crime in Dallas.
