> Cuba TV Analyzes Bush Fundamentalism

29 August 2005, 09:28

As the Cubans now enjoy universal health care, a lower infant mortality than the U.S., jobs for everyone, housing and food guaranteed for all citizens, free education through university, etc., and have excess trained medical workers that travel to other south American countries, their citizens can be proud and patriotic while they compare themselves to the "wealthiest" country in the world whose citizens health and living conditions are ignored and scorned by its government.

What ever happened to the U.S.A. that has taken it so far down in its moral standing? What did the people of the United States do to deserve a government that exists in an ivory tower with access only by those of the monied class? How did a once great and productive country fall to the level that violence and war are the preferred industries, subsidized and supported by the government made up of the very people who own those industries?

In capitalist America, machines in a factory are given better treatment than the workers that run them. Factory owners can deduct the entire cost of repairs and maintenance of every piece of equipment and machine while the human running these machines are charged exorbitant prices for their healthcare or "maintenance", and these same humans can not even deduct the costs from their income tax. Capatilist America cares nothing for the slaves enabeling the wealthy corporate pigs to amass piles of money and pay no taxes. The motto has become give the pigs all of the financial help, corporate welfare, and tax breaks, let them make ALL of the money and don’t collect any taxes from them for the privilege of amassing that wealth, afterall, why should the corporate pigs contribute anything to the maintenance and upkeep of America...let the worthless slaves pay the corporate pigs share. Let them do all of the dirty work, give them NOTHING, and send them the entire bill for all. What a country, hard to be proud anymore.
