It seems to me that technology advances are wonderful when adding to our toy chest, but are so lame when it comes to our health (Western diagnosis is great, but its cures are few), environment, and our spirituality.
I am born Catholic who became and Atheist at 13, and then turned Agnostic around 35. The more I learn about life the more I realize I know very little. What I have learned the hard way is that ignorant people come in all forms. The saddest bunch is people who do not open their minds to the infinite possibilities of humans’ creativity. However, this ingenuity is not always used for good or moralistic reasons. To many elitists, “The end justifies the means.”
Get away from the TV and major news outlets and do read the works of Antony Sutton, Edward Griffin, Mantak Chia, David Morehouse, Zecharia Sitchin, Nicola Tesla, Lloyd Pye, Ayn Rand, Ludwig von Mises, Richard Daugherty (Mogambo), and Bill Bonner. This will give you just a small idea of what I am talking about. Some are very popular authors with massive credentials and some are not. If only popularity and credentials are what you’re seeking, stay watching the “boob tube” and continue reading the NY Times my friend.
The only biblical saying that I consider worth repeating is, “God helps those who help themselves.” Either get involved or not at all, but don’t damn those for trying.
