I wanted to write about 10 minutes ago but I had to stop laughing first. I’ve lived about a mile from the 17th Street Canal for most of my 39 years. Your theory is totally preposterous. It is factually wrong, poorly written, based on rumor and inuendo, and is simply a conspiracy-laden bunch of clap-trap.
Of the bodies that have been identified as of Dec. 10th at the temporary morgue at St. Gabriel, which has since been moved to Carville, 46% are black, 42% are white, and 12% are of other races. If you can add better than you can write a column, more non-black people have been identified among the hundreds of bodies that have gone through the morgue.
The breaches at the 17th Street Canal, no matter what side the breach would have occurred on, first affected New Orleans’ only predominantly white neighborhood. Water eventually made it’s way into Old Metairie, flooding an all-white area with the second highest per capita income in the state.
I could go on but this isn’t worth wasting any more time over since anyone with first-hand knowledge of the situation realizes this was written for urban legend purposes.
P.S. You may want to start with this sentence and work your way through with your English teacher to correct the errors: It now appears that a sophisticated plan was implemented that utilized the "cover of a hurricane" to first destroy and than take over the City of New Orleans?
