Of course, we will never find out, how "effective" these NSL’s have been, because they are probably not being used to fight terrorism at all. Much rather, they are for fishing expeditions into the lives of citizens who *might* oppose the neocons’ take-over of America. The term "citizen" is now becoming equivalent to "slave". I propose a change of name: America will henceforth be known as the United States of Orwell.
