Erm... I don’t think you’re right suggesting that nobody would know what BFBS was - jesus, it used to broadcast part-time on BBC Radio Five. And I’d suggest that if anyone was ignorant of who they were, and weren’t interested enough to type BFBS into Google, they’re not that bothered about the report anyway.

Show us a transcript of the report, and show why it deviates from the BBC’s editorial guidelines, and we can start to talk about scandals. But since a large portion of BBC News is openly funded by direct grant-in-aid from the FCO, I’m not quite sure why "BBC News is using human interests reports on a Christmas day edition of a national regional breakfast programme" is meant to be such a shock.
