Au départ, il y a en effet une "info" de ce canard dit "The Independant", qui n’en est pas à son coup d’essai en matière de catastrophisme climatique :

"Ils sont peut-être devenus les premiers « éco-réfugiés ». Les habitants de l’île de Lohachara, petit morceau de terre désormais disparu sous les eaux du golfe du Bengale, ont en effet dû fuir les flots qui commençaient à les submerger. Le quotidien britannique « The Independent », qui révèle l’information enregistrée par l’université Jadavpur de Calcutta (Inde), estime que cette date marque « le moment où les plus apocalyptiques prévisions des écologistes et climatologues ont commencé à se réaliser »."

The story fails to mention that Lohachare Island disappeared 22 years ago, and that the entire region of The Sundarbans is a river delta.
