Home > Tell an American Expatriate to Vote
Do actions and policies tacken by the President of the United States
affect your life?
If so, would you like to have a say in this election?
Even if you are not a citizen of the United States of America,
you can still make an immediate difference in this election.
#1 George Bush has, through horribly-flawed foreign policy, embarrassed American expatriates around the world.
Many, if not most, of these expatriates (and their accompanying spouse+children) are now targets for
all the ridicule and wrath of many different cultures in various nations.
American expatriates are now proxy for all the enmity their President Bush has incited around the world.
It helps little that his inability to speak in complete sentences reflects poorly on American education.
#2 John Kerry promises (sifting through his oscillating position statements) to continue these policies,
and as many argue, is indistinguishable from President Bush on many points.
(See one example at World’s Smallest Presidential Quiz at
http://badnarik.org/blog/blog_a.php?p=757&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1#more757
there is better analysis, but humor helps)
#3 Michael Badnarik consistently argues the same point: American interventionist policies must cease.
#4 Michael’s polling status is now going through the 7% level.
This is in spite of a virtually complete media blackout by American press.
Michael’s share of media exposure almost requires a microscope to perceive at 0.055%, yet his numbers surge.
More on this at: http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread72640/pg1
#5 There are over 7 million American expatriate voters who rarely vote,
but if there was ever an election that begged for the expatriate vote, this is it.
For an expatriates, the news is limited to the global face of American press - the election is Bush vs Kerry.
To vote for four more years of Bush, or four years of Kerry continuing Bush’s policies is just plain dumb.
#6 The problem is, how to alert expatriates to the much saner policies Michael Badnarik offers?
The solution suggested itself:
non-Americans abroad who are disgusted by American military adventurism to can inform the expatriates
that the American Media is not telling the whole truth about this election.
At the same time, show those non-Americans,
whose very lives are affected by the foreign policies of a President they cannot vote for or against,
how they can demonstrate their sentiment immediately and effectively.
This is by way of showing them there are online polls which credibly count unique votes from around the world.
The example given is: http://www.uselectionatlas.org/USPRESIDENT/GENERAL/CAMPAIGN/2004/mock04.php
#7 And, using the site: http://www.tellanamericantovote.com/index.php
non-Americans can send by email (it is free) a prodding message and instructions how to vote Badnarik.
Thus, the Tell an American to Vote for Michael Badnarik campaign:
You don’t need to be an American to affect the 2004 American Presidential Election.
If you loathe the foreign policies of President George Bush,
if you do not trust ’scary’ John Kerry to do whatever it is he is saying today,
this is your chance to actually do something:
Tell an American to Vote for Michael Badnarik

Tell an American to vote for Michael Badnarik,
Libertarian candidate for President of the United States.
This story will be of particular interest to American Expatriates,
(http://www.tellanamericantovote.com/index.php)
but one of the links also provides an opportunity for foreign citizens
to express their sentiment on the American Presidential Election
by casting a ’global vote’.
Of all the candidates for President of the USA, only these three approach viability:
George Bush - Republican
John Kerry - Democrat
Michael Badnarik - Libertarian
George Bush promises: War in Iraq (and other countries?) will continue.
John Kerry promises: More troops to Iraq, continuing through his term.
Only Michael Badnarik (Libertarian) promises to
immediately remove troops from Iraq and other countries.
See the video advertisement of this promise to leave Iraq:

Quotes below excerpted from the Michael Badnarik’s site:

================================================
Military Policy and the War in Iraq
The War in Iraq is a failure,
and the U.S. government should never have waged it.
.................................................
As your president, one of my first tasks will be
to begin the orderly process of bringing our troops home
as quickly as can safely be accomplished.
.................................................
First, allow me to dispel a myth.
People in the Middle East do not hate us for our freedom.
They do not hate us for our lifestyle.
They hate us because we have spent many years
attempting to force them to emulate our lifestyle.
The U.S. government has meddled in the affairs of
the Middle East far too long, always with horrendous results.
It overthrew the democratically elected
leader of Iran and replaced him with the Shah.
After making Iranians the enemies of Americans,
the U.S. government gave weapons, intelligence and money
to Iran’s mortal adversary, Saddam Hussein.
The U.S. government also helped Libyan Col. Qaddafi come to power,
propped up the Saudi monarchy and the Egyptian regime,
and gave assistance to Osama bin Laden.
Most Americans have forgotten these events.
But the people of the Middle East will always remember.
It was because of American troops in Saudi Arabia,
lethal sanctions on Iraq, support for states in
serious violation of International Law, and
siding with Israel in its dispute with the Palestinians
to the tune of more than $3 billion per year
in taxpayers’ funds that terrorist leaders were able to
recruit those individuals who caused 3,000 Americans
to pay the ultimate price on September 11, 2001.
A Libertarian president would not have sent
the military trampling about the world,
racking up a death count in the thousands,
wasting tax money on destroying and re-building
infrastructure, creating more enemies, and
doing the kinds of things that led to 9/11
in the first place.
In short, a libertarian foreign policy is one of
national defense, and not international offense.
It would protect our country, not police the world.
I’m Michael Badnarik, Libertarian for President.
================================================== =
How is it even imaginable that Badnarik might become President?
I could explain, but, better you see for yourself:
http://www.uselectionatlas.org/USPRESIDENT/GENERAL/CAMPAIGN/2004/mock04.php
There is mounting evidence that historic mainstream efforts
to exclude third-party candidates from media exposure
is increasingly alienating voters.
The reliability of traditional media is falling,
as an increasing percentage of American voters
seek and rely on news from the Internet.
An increasingly bitter and deeply divided electorate
is spawning an unacknowledged political center
which loathes being subjected once again to
an ’either-or’ election choices that focus
on issues driven by special interests.
These factors conspire to make this one of the most
interesting elections in American history.
Michael Badnarik’s poll numbers continue to rise.
From an initial partial percentage,
the number rose through 2 to 3 % in earlier polls,
but recent polls in New Mexico show his support rising through 7%.
This is occuring despite a virtually perfect media blackout.
Media exposure analysis shows the Badnarik campaign is
covered in less than 0.055% of -all- American news media
regarding any aspect of the coming presidential election.
This figure does not include advertising which would
further reduce his media exposure into infinitesimal numbers.
That he has achieved 7% polling with media exposure of 0.055% is astonishing.
As his profound impact on affecting the outcome
rises into media recognition, he gets more attention.
Various polls indicate voters are not all
voting for candidates, but that a strong core
are actually planning to vote against candidates.
These are the votes Libertarians are after,
and they represent anywhere from 60 to 70% of the electorate.
These are people who are voting ’lesser of two evils’
and are beginning to notice the Libertarian alternative.
The bottom line here is that a vote for Badnarik
is a vote in favor of abandoning reckless
military adventurism in favor of sensible policy.
