The Quiet American (Not)

We as a People must ACT to ensure Truth, Justice and Liberty for ALL, NOT just repeat it as a re-assuring mantra.

If we truly are a Great People, a Great Democracy, a protector of Human Rights and dignity, a Beacon of light atop the Hill, how is it we have allowed these crimes recently and into the past at least since 1944...?

Many ask why so many in the Middle East and to a lesser degree the rest of the World, incuding our allies, Hate us ?

I would suggest its because they clearly see that which we refuse to accept:
we are in fact the ’Great Hypocrisy’.

We as a People must examine our national conscience and national soul, not just these events but the decades of the same, which we cynically and conveniently rationalise away and deny every 3-4 years...

How was it the overwhelmigly decent German peoples of 1933 to 1945 did’nt know the scale of the crimes committed by thier State and did’nt act ?

I assert that They did know, they just consistently chose as a People to deny the unpalateable, uncomfortable, unfaceable, TRUTH.
