US War Crimes: How Troops Tortured Iraqi Prisoners

This has seriously caused damage to the American image. I feel this will endanger our remaining troops and it will endanger all American travellers abroad. I believe this will take years, possibly decades to repair.

I think the Commander in Chief is responsible and should be held accountable. I do not believe that he didn’t know anything about this, and, to place blame on lower ranks is outrageous and cowardly. The military intelligence/civilian security contracters should be made to answer for thier disgusting tactics and should be punished accordingly. Maybe, place them under arrest and submit them to the same torture that they ordered for the Iraqi prisoners.

It is true that some of the soldiers have stated that "they were following orders" but, is it not true that to be a good soldier sometimes, you need to question orders? Following them blindly seems to be mindless act and things happen badly when no one questions or thinks about their actions.

And what is this about a young iraqi boy being raped by interpreture, this act of HOMOSEXUALITY is forbidden in the MILITARY. What’s up with this???? I can tell you that I have less respect for the military today than I did yesterday. As a fellow American, I am truly ashamed.
