How do you explain the advantages of globalism to a seven year old while she’s burying a family pet in the back yard. “Well you see Virginia, sometimes companies let bad things get into the cat food.” Of course that answer is just so superficial, the fact is the Chinese are a raging success at capitalism not just from a monetary standpoint but from a behavioral point of view as well.
Sometimes we watch our children play and we see aspects of ourselves reflected in them that we don’t like (…)

"Do you ever see male hormones raging around you?", Israel’s Foreign Minister was asked a few months ago. Rather than fudge the answer, she responded frankly: (…) -
Sarkozy set to unleash new French revolution
6 May 2007The right’s candidate could canter home in today’s election -but that will do little to heal deep divisions still raging in France. As hope for Socialist Segolene Royal slips away, Jason Burke finds a nation polarised
The scruffy streets outside the campaign headquarters of Nicolas Sarkozy, the right-wing candidate apparently set to sweep to power in elections today, were calm. The multi-coloured, multi-ethnic market on the Rue Strasbourg Saint Denis nearby was not. Amid the shoppers (…) -

Complicit Democrats Ripped at Pro Peace Rally
4 May 2007“We must guard against the...unwarranted influence of...the Military-Industrial Complex.” — President Dwight D. Eisenhower
Baltimore, MD - At center/city’s Mt. Vernon Square, on May 3, 2007, a rally and march was held to protest the Bush-Cheney Gang’s Iraqi War and the insane “Surge” strategy to perpetuate that conflict. It took place in the shadow of the first monument built in this country to honor the memory of America’s most beloved patriot, George Washington. State Delegate Jill P. (…) -
Blair’s Corrupt Britannia gerrymanders the Scottish Elections
4 May 2007Blair’s Corrupt Britannia gerrymanders the Scottish Elections
Up all night watching the electoral results of the Scottish parliamentary and municipal elections. For the first time it seemed as if the Scottish National Party (SNP) had a chance of leading the next Scots Parliament at Holyrood.
Everyone was expecting Nu Labor to get a hammering north of the border.
But, hey! Guess what. It looks like Tony Blair’s corrupt crowd have done a Bush fix and stolen the election from under our (…) -
I Think I’ve Got L.S.D.
4 May 2007I think I’ve got L.S.D. In fact I’m almost sure of it. Last night while I was flipping through the channels and stopped quite by accident on the NBC nightly news. Brian Williams was explaining, carefully, tactfully almost tip toeing in fact, “A certain class of anti depressants has in some rare cases caused young people to have increased thoughts of suicide. The F.D.A is strengthening their black box warning to include individuals up to the age of twenty four.” He was then joined by a (…)

Bush’s War by Military Families Speak Out Ohio
3 May 2007Perhaps if Mr. Bush had been more involved during his time of military service, he would have a better appreciation for the hardships endured by military families. When the president threatens our loved ones by forcing them past the point of human endurance, military families will not remain silent. Most military families know the war and occupation of Iraq is a violation of the military core values that we teach American soldiers and sailors. The supporters of this war repeatedly attempt (…)

BELTSVILLE, Md. — Unless someone or something stops it soon, the mysterious killer that is wiping out many of the nation’s honeybees could have a devastating effect on America’s dinner plate.
Honeybees don’t just make honey; they pollinate more than 90 of the tastiest flowering crops Americans have.
Among them: apples, (…) -
Holocaust, terrorism and violence: a Muslim View
3 May 2007by Abid Ullah Jan
The following article is compiled from various texts and books written by this author over the past 10 years voicing a consistent message.
Mine is part of the struggle to save Muslims from becoming the victims of a 21st Century Holocaust they are so obviously inching towards, becoming the 21st century Jews in terms of treatment the Jews received in Nazi Germany.
My Views as a Muslim about Holocaust
What is chilling is knowing now how many tens of millions of human (…)
