2 commentairesQuelque 400 personnes ont été interpellées dans la nuit de mercredi à jeudi à Montréal après une manifestation festive. Les autorités l’avaient déclarée illégale mais l’ont finalement tolérée pendant plus de trois heures, avant quelques débordements, selon la police.
Réunis dans un square du centre-ville, les manifestants, qui étaient quelques milliers, avaient été prévenus par la police avant le début de la manifestation qu’elle était illégale, parce qu’ils n’avaient pas fourni à l’avance (…) -

Alors que la tension s’accentue depuis le début du conflit étudiant, presque 2000 personnes ont été arrêtées lors des manifestations répétées au Québec.
Les chiffres compilés par le Journal révèlent que depuis le 7 mars dernier, 1983 personnes ont été appréhendées lors d’une manifestation, excluant celle d’hier soir.

Alors qu’en France l’élection de François Hollande semble avoir acheté la paix sociale, à Québec le printemps souffle un air de vie, une volonté de changements concrets.

Tandis que le gouvernement continue de défendre sa loi spéciale, au lendemain d’une manifestation s’étant conclue par une émeute, à Montréal, une réplique juridique s’organise.
En entrevue à l’émission Les coulisses du pouvoir, dimanche, le ministre des Transports du Québec, Pierre Moreau, a martelé que la loi 78 n’empêchait pas les manifestations. Il a insisté sur la notion de « grave danger pour la sécurité publique » qui encadre le pouvoir des policiers.

La 27e manifestation nocturne à Montréal, liée au conflit étudiant, s’est terminée avec au moins 300 arrestations.
Le départ a été donné à partir du parc Émilie-Gamelin, près de l’Université du Québec à Montréal.
La manifestation a été déclarée illégale dès le départ par le Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM). Selon un message envoyé sur le fil Twitter du SPVM, des « actes illégaux » ont été commis dès le départ.

Québec : le gouvernement impose sa ligne dure contre les étudiants

Le Parlement québécois a adopté vendredi à l’initiative du gouvernement de Jean Charest une "loi spéciale" illustrant la ligne dure adoptée face aux étudiants en grève depuis plus de trois mois et critiquée par beaucoup pour les limitations aux libertés qu’elle met en place.
Ce texte, approuvé par 68 voix pour et 48 contre, restreint notamment le droit de manifester et prévoit de lourdes amendes pour les contrevenants.

Je suis une mère indignée et révoltée. Ma fille, 20 ans, étudiante en dernière année d’étude au Cégep, impliquée dans ce grand mouvement de dénonciation d’une politique de l’éducation à la dérive et consciente des enjeux qui attendent sa jeune génération et celles à suivre.
